Feeling it's a fake. Normally stuck to the idea that anything that's cheap isn't great, like the Integra.

its an SR5. i wouldnt pay much more than that for one.

Probably is real. Pass on this one, though, if you want a real GTS.

Good deals come up every now and then. This guy was trying to sell his GTS for half-a-year or so before someone bought it for ~$800.

Personally, you can do whatever you want but I wouldn't buy that one as a daily if I were you. It doesn't look to be in too great of shape and I personally would not depend on any 1985 car as a daily. Believe me, I tried that '84 Prelude as a daily and it was a terrible decision. For $1000 you can get something much newer and more reliable. But, if character is what you want, then go for it.

I don't know, I would pass on it as a daily. As Bubs pointed out, you could get better for $1000.

If its real. Talk him down. Like I did with mine. It never hurts to ask. It's your money. Do what you please with it.

As for SR5 being a bad idea. If you know of a place where GT-S's grow on trees and are cheap please tell us.

What matters is saving these cars from being rarer and rarer. Making it harder and harder to find decent used parts.

Plus these cars were made when SR5 still meant something. I'm proud to own one.

If you're looking for a daily, get a used ford focus, not a quarter century old shitbox.

Old Toyota with a SOHC engine. Well worth a grand if it's in shape. But if it requires a months work before you can rely on it - pass.
All in all, not a bad choice for a daily driver, rwd with low mpg.


*edit* Ooo a Focus is a joy, never knew FF car could be so fun. 4-wheel drifts with a stock Focus aren't a joke if the suspension's still up to it. But it's still only fwd. That's why I still drive a 20-year old car(well that and money)

on topic... dont get it this if its missing a shift knob what else is missing my gues is that its been scavanged for parts not worth it, like evryone else said you can get better....
