Jdm headlamps

...which ones? There's like three different kinds.

If you're going to do that, buy some JDM badges and get rid of that horrible Scion shit.

I still def think a supercharger should have been a factory option. I think they missed a lot of potential buyers by limiting themselves.

In an ideal magic happy world: Both Toyota and Subaru would offer the base model with the power plant we have now, and and an upgraded "tuned" model- Nothing crazy, just an engine that rivals what honda was doing with the s2k 15 years ago would be nice. Then Toyota would offer the trd model, with a supercharger, and Subaru would offer the Sti model, with a turbo. Ideal pricing would be the 25'ish theyre "supposed" to be now for the base, pushing 30 for the "tuned" models, and low/mid 30s for the trd/sti versions.

One can dream I spose.

I wasn't impressed with the innovate kit. No way to monitor post blower temps. Plus it is only compatible with STOCK MAF SENSOR..

Why do you need to change the MAF? Can't you just get a bigger intake pipe and rescale it in the ECU?

And why do you need to monitor temps post blower? I've never owned a boosted car that measures air charge temps, it's all done at the inlet pipe. Temp increases will increase knock, and there's a sensor for that if your tune is aggressive enough that heat is that big of a factor.

What makes it a better option over the FRS? I thought you were being forced to get rid of the FRS for certain reasons?

This time around I'm the one who made the decision. I have had 0 influence on this. I pretty much just got tired of the car. Also ever since high school I've always wanted a GDB STI and made a goal of owning my very own sti in the future. So when I worked at the subaru dealer here in WA the opportunity to buy one was there so I took it.
