I'd like to think that Buntamobile has understeer there or doesn't take turns as fast as other AWD's... like Evos. |

I agree. My EG6 was way faster in the low end pickup department compared to my 8V which seems to have a slow 3rd to 4th transition. Otherwise the 8V is a great car. One thing I've heard people accusing me of with the buntamobile is using a bug'd car. Dunno bout you guys, but the 8V isn't bugged in the least. When I hit the walls it still slows down, its 3rd to 4th gear transition is weak (as was said before), and it does have courses its bad on.

actually the trueno is the best on akina, 2'55, i believe the capp record is like 2'58 and the 8V feels really slow to me on shomaru, for advice, MASA would probably be the guy you want to ask about the 8V or Kengai

MASA definitely would be the one I would ask for advice on the 8V. So far he is the best one I have seen using the 8V. This post has been edited by GAARA_of_the_sand on Sep 8 2004, 11:17 AM

It actually is gotta make ur team leader look good(I never joined his team or any other team on this forum). But I have not checked any of the rankings lately so I'll take ur word for it. This post has been edited by GAARA_of_the_sand on Sep 8 2004, 02:51 PM

I hate this map Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,874 Member No.: 2,007 Joined: Jun 13th 2004 Location: LOL, CA | Supposedly, the car can keep up with all of the course kings, but most likely won't be able to surpass them. |

my gf is faster than your gf Group: Advanced Members Posts: 684 Member No.: 819 Joined: Sep 23rd 2003 Location: Davis, CA | i think the 8v is tough to drive because its acceleration isnt very good at all. on iro the only thing i can do is block and reverse against evos because 3rd gear is horrid and it cant quite take the important turns in 4th. on akina i sometimes find myself taking turns much faster than truenos and yet they still gain slightly after a long straight. the one thing the 8v is superb at is stability. if anything, the 8v is the easiest car to keep under control that i have tried in ver3 because it doesnt understeer much and the oversteer is only slight. under conventional techniques (no feint no 5 in 4 out) the 8v is fairly slow, but it is really good if you can put feint and 5 in 4 out to use because its so easy to pull off in this car (because of the stability). |

This car is a demon as long as you don't screw up cause it takes a while to get your speed back....in other words...Don't touch the wall at all in this car it does not like it. |
