| So I'm definitely sold now on this. It will get a few more points if it is set on Phobos as opposed to what Doom 3 did. Also, that Baron of Hell.

| So I sunk my teeth into this finally and it does bring back quite abit of that old school no-nonsense shooter feel of the original Doom games (I'm talking single player campaign). I love the weapon upgrades. Things can get tacky quick even on normal difficulty and alittle carelessness can easily get you killed. So, enjoying it thus far. |

| Hell Knights ain't shit, slap 'em about with the chainsaw or boomstick and watch 'em drop. And yeah, this game is basically what happens when original Doom and Painkiller have a wonderful lovechild.  (also, totally no bias due to the amazing soundtrack done by local lad Mick Gordon, of Killer Instinct/Wolfenstein fame)

Finally got my copy last night, didn't install and play until this morning. HOLY SHIT. What a great shooter. It has the overall feel of a 90's shooter, thanks to 60fps. I love that it's brutally difficult and unforgiving even in early levels. Everything about this game's campaign is fantastic. Doomguy is cool enough to break the fucking communication screen as soon as the guy goes into his monologue, so we don't have to suffer through forced story bullshit. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME SHOOT THINGS. |

| I love and hate this game for all the right reasons. My brother came over to watch as he was skeptical about how I was describing it, and in his words, "the boners just don't stop". For a few hours, we were back in 1993 playing an exciting game that kept bringing the fun. Oh, and Barons suck ass. |

| Baron's do suck but two good shots from the upgraded Gauss will put them down. I actually like it more than the BFG, atleast in tight areas. |
