the ones i have seen usually have the same shift points as i do...i guess some do and some don't, but the AT cars are a good basis for experimentation

AT cars are hard to drive. My cousin uses AT and when I used it once I sucked balls with it. I felt like such a newbie. When u downshift it shifts back up, even when I hit the brakes sometimes.

ft means full tune, so you should be using 5500, 5500, 6500, 6500 until ft, then use 5500, 5500, 6000, 6500. also, when they say 5500, they mean 5500 rpm. so you would shift when your tachomter goes to 5.5, 5.5, 6.5, 6.5

pretty much, but you wouldn't shift at 5th since that's the highest gear for the fc. so when you shift from 1st to 2nd, shift and 5.5 and do the same for 2nd gear to 3rd. and when you shift from 3rd gear to 4th gear, shift at 6.5 and shift from 4th to 5th at 6.5

People just list three shift points but after that tell u what speed to shift into 5th on every course, i do not know how the 86 works.
