But a ton of people are selling their GC8 (GC6) on www.nasioc.com Just go to the forums, a direct link is forums.nasioc.com/forums. Some people are trying to get rid of their GC8's and WRX's to get their hands on the new STi coming out. You can also check eBay, since the cars seem to show up there a lot too. Hope this helps, always eager to get another Subaru enthusiast on the road Alex |

I own a MY98 Impreza 2.5RS (GM6), which is the closest thing you are gonna come to a street-legal GC8 in North America. You can always turbo your 2.5rs after you get it if you do want it to be like a GC8 though, or get an engine swap. Also, your too late, I just bought my 2.5rs 4 months ago in Kelowna BC (for $15500 CDN), which is kinda close to you . There are more 2.5rs's for sale in the vancouver area though, just check Canada Trader and you will see there are a couple for sale there. The only turbo Impreza to come to North America so far is the 2002+ WRX, and in June, the STi (300hp ). If you do decide to turbo a 2.5rs, get the 1998, since it has a DOHC engine and lower compression ratio as opposed to a SOHC engine and a higher compression ratio for 99-01. I would suggest replacing the head gaskets before turboing though. Just if you were wondering, heres some stats on my car (the 0-60 time on that site is BS, i just got a 7.6 0-60 last week and my car is bone stock, lol) Also, good luck finding a 22b in North America, they aren't legal here If your looking for something to drive out of the country, check J's Garage Export , they sold a 22b on there a month ago for $33000 USD and have a few Sti's for sale there EDIT: Nevermind, the two 2.5rs's that were for sale in vancouver sold a bit ago... guess you will have to look around (I got my car off Canada Trader =) ) |

Unregistered | 22b? It's in vancouver, for sure. But it's not for sale to just anybody. As for the 2.5RS, I guess I'll hafta try and get one of those. Just knowing people doesn't get you a discount just the availability of the car itself for sale |
