OKAY!

SO here we go again! This week, I've decided on doing a newgrounds theme to the show, having audio from my all-time favorite flash movies ever...only problem is that I have no idea what to play music-wise in between. there will be a short 1.5 hour request segment from 11-12:30, or later depending on the # of requests...but other than that, I'm having a hard time deciding on what to play.

It'll either be

jersey rock
Bowie
All-Metallica-All-The-Time
Frank Sinatra

Choose your poison, or I will.

So it's settled with ONE VOTE!!!!

It'll be Bowie for the second half of the show.

First half will be all requests with bits of flash thrown in for seasoning.

EDIT: Last show for a while. Got finals coming up, so I'll be pretty inactive here for a bit. Next show will be on the 23rd.

NEW SHOW IS NEW!!!!

Well, after I'm back on the 23rd, get ready to listen in for some movie soundtracks.

Which films, you may ask?

user posted image

Hellz yes.

Also, tune in for the fake trailers, along with some legitimate grindhouse trailers from years past of which I shall be playing at the end of the show.

Just a reminder; I'll be back on two Saturdays from now. Any old-school grindhouse trailers or 70's-early 80's era music is appreciated as requests.

Trailers lined up so far:

SPOILER

EDIT: date moved to the 30th; going away to summer place for Memorial day.

Just for shits and giggles, I'm gonna begin playing some music during the weeknights, seeing some people are out of college and able to stay up late. No mic right now. I tried to do a mic show a few days ago (drunk show) and the thing went kaput, AKA gave way too much feedback no matter what I did. It was crappy to begin with, so I figure an upgrade is sorely due.

First weekday show; Wednesday at 11 PM, 8 PM Pacific. tune in to find out the genre! wink2.gif

Okay, I'm gonna have to take a break from radio for awhile. Doing shows here at home can be pretty tough, so I going to have to wait until I start up at rutgers in the fall for me to start back up. I WILL be back, and I do have a couple awesome things planned for my return..... shifty2.gif

Because of recent events, I have decided to do a Michael Jackson tribute show. I'll be playing some classic songs from the King of Pop, and if anyone has any music they want played, go ahead and send it to me. I'd be glad to play it.

RIP the King of Pop.

I don't have any of his songs on my comp, so I'll definitely tune in.
Same time as usual?

Well, since it is summer, why not some weekday shows?

I am planning on a 311-Sublime block, an alt-rock block, and even the return of the Blues which will include some amazing Stevie Ray Vaughan tracks.

Dates are all TBA, but I shall be trying to get back into this 110%.

So,

Anyone want to hear some new shit?

Over my past 3 years, I have built up such a pretentious hipster retro-electro collection of jammage that I feel would be a waste not to share with the other 4-5 people who listen in to the radio. Would anyone be up to hearing some kind of broadcast from me?

In short, YES.

How classic are we talking? Has to be 1983 and earlier in my book.

Wouldn't necessarily be old music, but new music made to sound like the glorious 80s electro age...

Timezones permitting, hell yeah. Considering what I've seen you link everywhere, it'd make awesome background working music.

Reminds me, I need to get around to doing some sort of classic metal/EBM/NDH night one of these days. Too much goddamn music layin' around. laugh.gif
