| Ok din naman kung hindi pa masyado sikat kung ganon. Pagsabihan lang may more chances pa mag practice noh bago naging mahirap na sobra na puros people sa arcades at mahirap ang chance mo mag practise. Dito well sa Canada ako malapit sa Detroit (yeah nag Superbowl dito) at wala ka walang Initial D competition. Sa amin lang nga eh ano lang Version 1.0 lang meron at mahal pa. Kaya ang problema naman aye walang competition dahil kase wala may alam sa Initial D dito. Para mag laro nang Version 3.0 or may competition kailangan pa kami mga pumunta sa Toronto pero packed naman nang magagaling na miski na kung meron mga 8 - 12 na mga booths nang arcade. Ano iyon mga 4 hours drive. Plus ang problema dahil kase walang version 3.0 or wala din version 2.0 dito, hangat ngayon only version 1.0 lang meron. Kaya kung convert pa namin ang memory card to version 2.0 or 3.0 parang sayang. Sayang nga walang ma compete sa location ko...period, plus walang chance to improve on a better version din. |

| di ko parin maintindihan kung bakit ganun ka-adik mga tao sa IDAS, haha. doon ako na-adik sa ver2, biglang na-upgrade ko sa ver3 kaya nawala lahat stats ko tapos tinamad na ulit ako kaya tuloy sa Timezone GH, laging may tao sa IDASver3, doon ako sa Battle Gear 3 sa likod (kaya tuloy mas gusto ko na BG3) yung mga ver3 pala sa Quantum North Edsa (nearest sakin) pinalitan ng mga Mario Kart arcade |

| Depende kung kailan iyon toll. Haha, baka ano na Version 4.0 or baka pa nga 5.0 na ang compeition natin kung dumating ako balikbayan unless dumating ako something this year hindi ko alam pero baka lang haha. |

| ay may ganito pala dito hello po. hi kuya jhon idol ko sa irohazaka. pinoys out of the philippines don't know how popular initial d is around here. that's why those people from project tofu bought real cars as well. they're so lucky. so far they have trueno (shigeno version, the original trueno just like at the anime), fc3s, hatchback SiR's, skyline r32, integra. haaaaaay those people surely are rich and they're serious about it.  the axn-animax had an event last february 3-4 at glorietta 4. the 24-hour watchaton contest. i was there last february 4 and watched out for the trueno (because matteo kept on signing and signing autographs and taking photos ~___~). the trueno was soooo cool! |

| Um, the last time I visited PI was December-January of 2005. So, just recently. I played at SM Fairview once...and that was it. That's where I bought my EVO4. So now I'm at BL 9 with that car. I stopped battling though and concentrated more on TA-ing. There's a chance I'm coming back to visit PI in December of 2006. I'll let u guys know when I'm there so we could all meet and race. How 'bout it fellas? |

I've been to the SM supermall. It's a great place to battle people on ver.3. In fact, that's how I got into Initial D. I saw a lot of Evos when I went to the Philippines. Dam, sometimes, I wish I was born and raised in the Philippines!..... |

| Hello! IceDagger here, just another average player. No notable records to speak of yet. I'm from Laguna. I play in the following places (usually): ATC - Timezone SM City Sta Rosa SM Megamall - WoF (sometimes at Timezone for card inspections) Card name is RAIN. (although I've seen others with the same name.) Usually I use a red FD3SV or a blue BNR34 (Hehehe. sensya, mas sanay lang talaga ako mag post in english pag forums. Pero anyway, mabuhay ang mga pinoy!) |

| 4 in WoF, 2 in TimeZone unless I missed a machine. WoF rate: 6 pesos/game. TimeZone, 12-14/pesos game (in US Dollars that's roughly $0.11 and $0.23 respectively) Incidentally avoid the machine on the left (in TimeZone). It has a broken wheel and the last time I was there I got fished to Iro Wet several times. |

| Wow! Pinoys here in ID world! i think I'm gonna cry from happiness! Anyway, i'm here in Cebu playing IDV3 at Cebu Ayala Mall TIMEZONE. Gosh...12 pesos for an ID game in MEGAMALL? The IDV3 game here in Ayala Timezone Cebu costs P23.00 per game  I always play IDV3 when I'm on my 12nn-8pm sched. By 8pm, I have the IDV3 machine all by myself by that time hehehe! TIMEZONE here closes at 11pm. Most IDV3 players here play in the morning around 10am-4pm.Maybe when the time comes I'll play Race against the guys that play in the morning. I still suck driving my R34 I thought I was doing great driving my R34 until played Bunta Challenge . I got the shock of my life playing against Bunta. I guess I'll have to practice more  Any CEBU players here? |

| 6 pesos sa Megamall. Sira lahat ng machine dun except for 1. X_X 5 pesos sa Robinson's Galleria. I don't know about the machine on the left, pero yung nasa kanan may topak yung wheel. Lumiliko mag-isa! At magalaw yung kotse kahit di mo ginagalaw yung wheel. |

| I'm happy here at my regular arcade though, 12/game. Excellent condition yung machines. If you're in Manila, ATC has pretty well maintained machines for 18/game (VIP rate). The right wheel got broken off by some noob though, so they've done some makeshift repairs to make it playable. (Management assures me that it's just temporary though. I hope they get it fixed soon!) |

| Have any of you checked the machines at G4 lately? The first time I played there the machines were working pretty well. But the last time I went, the wheels were both broken (They wouldn't turn all the way to the right, and would turn too much to the left). The guys working at the arcade said that they'd have it fixed ASAP, but I checked the following week and it was still in the same state. PS: I also checked Greenbelt TimeZone and from the looks of it the machines there are worse off. |

| ATC = alabang town center... alabang, muntinlupa... extreme southern metro manila... the machines there are ok, times are quite fast but kinda manageable... pity the glorietta machines... T___T they used to be on of the best-conditioned ID machines sa 'pinas... |

| Well, I'm not much of a hardware person, but I think the G4 machines should be easy to fix... They just doesn't seem to be locked properly or something. I really wish they'd fix it. The other month I bought 500 pesos worth of credit there and I still haven't gotten to use it because the machines are broken. I think they'd fix it if more people would actually complain about it. (Same with Greenbelt) |

Btw, I'm quite curious with some tinkerings some players are doing to the machine's steering wheel. They were able to set the resistance level of the steering wheel. How do you do this? They can even remove the "Map/Navigation course". I haven't memorized the courses yet so i still need th "Map/navigation course" |

| Boost on- the car behind would get speed and hanling bonus to help him catch up with the car ahead. Boost off- no bonus given to the car behind. test to see who has more skill. If you drive like sh*t, you're done. Boost off must be based on agreement, spoken or not. The only concern the brake has its because both brake pedals must be stepped on during the loading time to activate boost off. EDIT: NO! you can't use it on attack mde kasi wala ka namang kalaban dun |

To change steering resistance, press view change after inserting your card (the machine will show you a screen with your stats) just press view change several times until you get a screen with various settings. Use the shifter to highlight steering resistance, press the start button, and steer left and right to set it. When you're done, press the start button again. , then use the view change button to scroll back to the first screen and press the accelerator (or wait for time to run out) to start the game.Waaaahh.... | yung 3'05 ko dun walang eraser bro, Braking and downshifting lang. Feint, brake, turn in + downshift, tapos accelerator sa apex. Yun na yun. Tapos pag mejo ayos na yung mga oras mo, try mo lagyan ng eraser. |

| I'm comfortable speaking in English and Filipino/Tagalog. I spent some of my early years in Virginia, so I grew up speaking English. Then I came home and learned Filipino, so both languages come naturally. So if anyone wants a translation from Tagalog->English or vice versa, just ask. I don't think it'll be necessary though because all the Pinoys here on this forum can speak English decently. I'm more comfortable writing/typing in English though. |

| @chi15: Chi from Alabang? Ikaw ba yung may FD na CHI yung pangalan sa card name? If so nakalaban na ata kita dati... @gian: I have both cars. The R34 is more stable but it understeers too much so you'll need to brake a lot more as braking won't give as much "kick" while turning as it will on the RX8. Comparatively the RX8's understeer isn't much compared to the R34, so to adapt you'd need to brake more, and if you use erasers you'll have to do more of them per turn. |

Yah i got it. The reason why i asked is that one time, I requested another player to drive my R34 because I noticed that he drives a RX-8. he obliged and wow... He drove my r34 beautifully! I was so happy i could have burst into tears seeing it manuever beautifully thru the corners. I was able to see some pointers while he was driving byt I still couldn't get the darn R34 to cut thru corners more sharply. |

| I'm still stuck at 3'05 with my RX8 on Iro. Hehehe. Ang bagal ko sa CP4. Nung na-compare ko sa mga Evo4 times na 3'05 rin, 1 second yung difference sa CP4... Di ko pa rin alam kung ano mali ko dun. As for Akina, gusto ko naman maka sub-3 na time with my FD or GC8V... (dry or wet). @June: Di naman ako magaling no... | Guys, maybe kaiku went to SM Arcades that don't have IDV3 machines. If I'm not mistaken, some SM Malls have multiple Arcades and he might have gone to atcades that didn't have the IDv3 machines. Maybe you Manila guys must be more specific as to the name of the arcade. I can't help because my knowledge of IDv3 machines is very limited and outdated The only IDv3 that i'm sure of is Sm Pampanga at the 3/F hehehe! |

Sa arcade ko, mostly Evos ang gamit. Meron dito gumagamit ng Evo VI and VII, although pang Snow lang... Come to think of it, wala pa akong nakikitang card na S14q. very rare... I've seen both Miatas though, although tinamad ata yung may-ari at di na niya ginagamit. Di raw ata matapos yung Iro sa LotS... Well, RX8 specialist na siguro ako since it's my main car. There are lots of others who are much better than me though. Lalo na dito sa forum. |

I am using an evo VII, I've seen an evo VI used by jhun then yung s14 marami na akong nakita kaso pang akagi dhd lang, levin all the old members of drift tech used this car. |

| Mga ID3 Addicts! Paturo naman. I think I've reached a point na gusto ko na matuto ang TST. Anyway I saw someone playing sa Greenhills level 31 na sya may ginagawa sya yun TST parang pinapalock yun gulong tapos eraser..nagdrdrift talaga yun kotse nya sa turns. Does anyone here know this technique? Meron bang well documented steps...kunwari last turn sa Akina downhill before the finish line. salamat |

I'm not sure it's SM Megamall yo've been too. SM Megamall doesn't have ahotel attached to it. The othewr malls with holtes attached to it are Robinson's Galeria and Ayala Makati. Dunno though if there are IDAS V3 machines there. |

| There are 2 machines in Tom's World at Robinson's Galleria. Right machine: Brake pedal broken (brakes by itself, so avoid this machine like a plague). Steering wheel is quirky but workable. Left Machine: SW force feedback is shot. It keeps jerking the wheel randomly to the left and to the right, so you have to hold on to the wheel more tightly or perhaps lower your SW stiffness. Also, the steering wiggles by itself even if you're not moving the steering wheel so it's a bit difficult to get a good line. The pedals are okay though. 5 pesos per play. You can get some decent practice on the left machine if you're driving a stable car and can manage the twitchy wheel. As for Ayala there are two places with IDAS3: Glorietta 4 Timezone: 2 Machines. Right machine: The steering wheel won't turn all the way to the right. it stops around 90% of the way. . It also turns 110% of the way to the left.Left machine: The steering wheel won't turn all the way to the right. it stops around 85% of the way. . It also turns 115% of the way to the left.20-22 pesos per play. Not worth it at all because the machines suck. The times on these machines are signs that they've seen better days though. Greenbelt Timezone: Right machine: The steering wheel isn't centered. The wheel turns 200% to the right and doesn't turn left at all. Left machine: The steering wheel isn't centered on this one either. 25 pesos per play. Not worth it AT ALL. @h4bpeps: TST? Sorry, di ko pa kayang gamitin ng matino yun e. Pero kung gusto mo talaga matuto, try mo sa Usui. Sanayin mo lang sarili mo sa understeer habang nagfe-feint. Note nga lang na kahit marunong ka mag TST, siguro wala pang 2 seconds yung ibibilis mo. Swerte ka nga kung .5 seconds e... Hehehe. |

heres an explanation in this one site..here you go: On turns where the player has enough room and distance to prepare for the turn, they can use the TST technique. The first form of TST, I will use the first turn of Akina as an example. About 200m from the corner, the car should be as close to the inside as possible but leaving enough room for the car to turn inwards a little (usually near the middle of the lane). There should be room left because at this point, the player needs to use the Eraser Technique twice. The car will be locked going that direction (right for the first turn of akina). Then turn the wheel the other way (left) as fast as possible, then swing back and erase again and brake, apex, etc. As you can see, this is quite unbelievable, it is not even driving anymore. its basically a mega feint with double eraser. if you didnt understand that..this is what i usually say about it. theres kinda like 2 feints. in the first feint you double eraser to lock your wheels in that direction, then you fient again but you only eraser once. then you do whatever else there is to a turn. so did you get that? (that was so hard to explain) lol |
