His posts were really angry though, you can kinda tell when people are just trolling and when someone is legit angry.

The only person who would know whether he was actually pissed at people or trolling is himself. Although some would have better idea then others.

I thought we all knew he was like this and he loved to troll people, I strongly believe we lost a great member and should consider unbanning him a lot of us in the automotive section owe a lot to him. Were you expecting something else? Group: Advanced Members Posts: 3,921 Member No.: 20,929 Joined: Oct 14th 2006 Location: Some place in South-East Asia | He got banned because his warn-level was already high before he decided to call the mod-team cockbags. Floh probably wouldn't care about getting unbanned right now. Maybe some years from now he'll apologise to Perry via e-mail (if he feels like apologising), ask about getting his ban removed; and get unbanned if Perry thinks he's being sincere. Or maybe he'll just stay away from these forums for good. Anyway, previously banned members have come back to IDW after wising up a bit then asking Perry for another chance. Floh's chances of coming back (if he wants to) aren't actually all that bleak (again; if he wants to come back). |

Ken > Ryu Group: Advanced Members Posts: 3,229 Member No.: 2,386 Joined: Jul 27th 2004 Location: TEXAS.Mexicos Exapansion Pack | I haven't posted or been here for a year but I'm sure something between him and some of the newer mod guys might of riled him, one of the reasons I stopped posting here was the way the new moderating team was handling things here, some of us old guy didn't like the way things were being handled. I'm not going to start drama here but floh never got angry unless someone really pissed him off. Like I said before his tremendous contribution to this community far outweigh whatever he did to get banned. His help on my short 3 years of drifting my s13 and ae86 helped me become a greater drift racer in my city daily drifter events, his help on tips on scca racing in my s14 is something I used till I retired last year. He helped me on my sr20 questions to even my ka-t swap on my s14 too. While I never met the guy in person or even ever really talked to him personally I considered him a friend he helped me a lot in my automotive passion. He helped a lot of us gear heads. Im sure every old school member here in the auto section agrees. Also what in baby Jesus happened to nick. |

Before he got banned, he would've called you a dumbass for drifting. People change, compared to his Grand Turismo drifting thread, he changed for the worst. |

Just a guy towing a car across the country to chase a dream. Group: FORUM MODERATOR Posts: 9,272 Member No.: 30,193 Joined: Jul 25th 2008 Location: Plymouth, MN | The argument for him being capable of coming back should have no bearing here. This was a one-way ticket. Floh wasn't close enough to the community to care, nor does he have enough of a desire to be to try to come back. It was perfectly known that this as a decision would end up being final as a result of that. This post has been edited by Spaz on Jul 21 2012, 04:24 AM |

Doubtful, he may not have liked drifting but he was supportive of my hobby when I was doing it.wish I could talk to him I feel like he's going through a personal problem, I will always vouch for him he is a good guy and he did help this forum out.

That's how it feels like a regime here now. No wonder traffic here is so slow scared everyone away. Spaz I didn't forget about you.

It's been this slow for the past 2~3 years. It has gotten _very_ slow since the beginning of this year. The Mod Team change happened in April this year. I highly doubt there is any causality between the Mod Team change and the slow down in traffic. By the way, welcome back Scuba Steve! Hope you stay for awhile.

IDW Senior Member Group: Members Posts: 87 Member No.: 31,630 Joined: Jan 16th 2009 Location: London England Uk | The place is kinda raw now all i ever see is this person is banned this person is banned this person is banned. Shoryuken.com Eventhubs & many others sites have armshouse and drama on all kinds of levels on threads but they don't go banning people cos otherwise they will go elsewhere & and the other people who see that will think twice about posting also or may go else where as well. Not saying here should not be like that but maybe sometimes u need people who disagree with others it's not a knitting website. It's very easy to deal with the guy if u wanted to u could of deleted his post or ignored him in a pm but mans choose a different route & Steve is right the vibe on here is totally different it's as if people ain't even united anymore but we were all here for the same reason so the real question is wtf has happened since. |

ShiMACHaze Group: Advanced Members Posts: 19,542 Member No.: 5,394 Joined: Feb 5th 2005 Location: Drydock | It's less that people have run around getting banned every day and more that the one rare time it happens, it explodes all over the place with discussion threads and personal feelings and all that stuff. It's a lot more public is all, which may instill the sense that that's all IDW is about. Especially with traffic declining in general emphasizing that by a lack of activity. Agreed with Perry--the staff shift had nothing to do with the activity shift. Activity has been falling off steadily since Wangan Midnight stopped airing. If a new Anime would come out maybe we could re-ignite the passionate influx of membership that Fourth Stage brought on but until then it's just us, festin' it up. |
