I actually only liked mononoke hime and spirited away.

I didn't really like Laputa or Nausicca or Graveyard of the fireflies.

they were "good" animes, but just not the style I really like.

I loved PM. Awesome styling, great weapons and fight sequences. The real winner for me was the fact that it was essentially a critique of industrialization. How could I resist? wink2.gif

Princess Mononoke was one of the first Miyazaki(Studio Ghibli) movies i have ever seen but isnt one of my favorites. It was great in the begining but the plot seemed to really slow down after that. The detail that has gone into the movie/anime was and is amazing. Especially seeing the posssesed boar in the begining. That would be enough to get anyones attention i think. I rank it a 8/10. But thats just my opinion.

Princess was a good movie. I saw the english dub, then went back and saw the original with subs, because I've grown to hate the weird American voices in animes.

On a somewhat unrelated note, Claire Danes is hot.

I remember that movie very well. It was the 1st Studio Ghibli movie that I saw in Japanese. The first one was Kiki's Delivery Servicewhisch was dubbed in English. Even though it was dubbed, it wasnt that bad. Princess Mononoke was a great movie. The animation in the begining with the possessed boar was amazing.

EXTREMELY weird anime. There were a lot of good comments and reviews about this movie. But when I saw it I just thought that it was ok.
