I'm in too.

Now it's all up to Sensation! Good luck, Ian! You're gonna walk all over me. laugh.gif

Hey don't say that man. This is up for grabs. You shocked me with your last sig, it's really good. I could legitimately lose to you. (I'm not trying to be conceited/cocky) sad.gif

Haha, well I guess that I still consider myself still kind of low on the totem pole in /idw/'s photoshopping, and I have improved, so that's probably why I stated that.

Anywho, let's get it awwn! I'm anxious to see your sig, Ian!

I know. I look at this thread and I see that you're the last post and I wonder if he's saying Sweet! or Congrats on the win. 0.0

OKAY, so I just got off chat with Sensation, who says that he's having a hard time finding time to judge the sigs, so he's given me the OK to open the judging up to the masses. If Ian's okay with this, I guess we'll just open up a poll for us to vote in with both sigs. If so, we'll open up a poll with both sigs up for the /idw/ community to cast their votes for the next three days afterward. when the votes are tallied, we'll get ourselves a winner.

I hate to be such a downer, but no. It's only fair if they are judged by a non-biased group (in this case just one member) or else you get those random "harharhar I like BOZZ Savage's better because I like his avatar" You know what I mean? This and Sensation! mentioned how he would be judging the sigs, so the sigs were based around those parameters. Maybe next time but for this time it'll have to wait.

Although we can still make a thread like you suggested, even though whoever wins won't necessarily be the winner.

Just got a PM from Ian, who is now agreeing with my idea of making a poll for each battle. I figure we'll use the same rules I originally planned, unless someone wants to change them. The poll will open up with both sigs on display for three days, and at the end of three days, the votes'll be tallied and we'll have a winner. Overall, those who are voting should not vote based on personal relationship to the artists, or other non-artistic factors that may swing their vote one way or another (including characters/people/cars/etc. in the sig). If anyone has any opposition, questions, or comments, please contact me via PM, and I'll get to it ASAP. grin2.gif

Okay, so since the sig battle is done, why not jump into doing an avatar battle? It's been thrown around as a possibility by everyone on the forums, so why not? So maybe we culd get a few competitors to enter into this match and take each other on, with the same rules as before, just on a 100x100 canvas. How's that sound?

Okay then well, how about a combo battle?

maybe you could both do an avatar and sig, and then we could all vote.

I meant large canvas. You beat me at the sig battle, I want to try something different this time, before an official rematch. tongue.gif

Like an 1000x800 canvas

Wallpaper battle?

I'm good with that, but I kindof want to take a backseat on this one. I've got too much schoolwork to worry over a wallpaper design. If Takumi_Drift's still into it, then we can have the battle and I'll just set up the poll.

1000x800 would be the limit, so not a wallpaper, just a large canvas.

So since we've got our competitors, let's give this about three-to-four days for you both to submit your works to me, and I'll post the poll up, giving it another three days for voting. PM them to me, do not post here.

Good luck gentlemen!
