Newfield (of Delta fame) wrote on a eurobeat group via Facebook about SEB 197 being all male. You can hear his rants about @vex on there. So, I'm deducting that either 196 or 198 will be all female...my guess is 196 because I'm guessing that 7A will want 198 & 199 to be a sort of round up of music to SEB 200 in August.

A blog post on "SEB Blog" (translated of course) said that SEB 197, 198, 199 and obviously, SEB 200 are going to be NONSTOP MIXES which sucks lotsa ballz. Their will still be new material but they will be in nonstop format aka 1:30 to 2:30 in length. I probably see people coming and say "Is there a way to get extended?" Well, sadly, for a normal US citizen, the answer is No. If you are ready to go into some extensive and expensive measures then, yes there are. There's two ways. 1. Buy a Japanese iTunes points card to be used to buy off the Japanese iTune Store. 2. Have a Japanese contact to buy off mu-mo, converts the DRMed WMA into MP3 for you, then you the files. For mu-mo, if you don't know it, it is now closed to outsiders. You need to have a Japanese debit/credit card to buy there. It sux, and, we are stuck with it. IT FAILS HARD, so, come and cry with me guys... |

For normal English people, don't care about what I've said above in French. It's just a French explanation of what i said earlier in English.
Me, either. This is just because news/rumors about future album are out very early.

Well, probably, but, it's clear that it'll won't be extended. XX0 albums since SEB 50 are always been Nonstop Mixes. I don't see why SEB 200 would change to the tendency.

🎧 Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,594 Member No.: 18,005 Joined: May 25th 2006 Location: Canada | Oh... there's was again something that hit E-P. This time, it's positive :
So, according to Laurent Newfield (euroboss here - Delta (the label) producer), SEB 197, 198 and 199 are not megamixes. But Avex changes their mentality instead : they will take only the best new song (they way the labels did them) the labels did. So, if labels don't put higher standards on their productions, they will get no place on SEB. For example, if Dave Rodgers makes a new song with his vocals, and if the song's not great then, we could easily see a SEB album without any A-Beat-C song (a first time since the beginning of SEB). Anyway, if Laurent N. says it, then, it's not a megamix album *Lebon is much happier now and wants more Dima*

They can give us a normal album and then produce a second disc for the non-stop mix of the songs- but dont we get that already on the albums? Hmm *wonders how mixing the most recent non stop mixes together would go*.... |
