I found a new movie called "Drift". I think it's a japanese movie with chinese actors, I'm not too sure. My download is still not finished yet. From the cover, I guess it's some drifting in the touge. I can't find the official website. I found the torrent in a chinese forum so if anyone can translate it, that would great.

the movie kinda went like - he crashes and his daughter dies - while in a car crash caused by a negligent drifter... that then flees the scene - then teh dude gets a grip and rebuilds the s13 he wrecked killing his family and he makes it into a drift car (it was a Qs s13 - now hes got a turbo on it and its all out - and he goes out on hte mountain and meets this kid that adores his driving... so the kid is all up his butt and then the kid finds out that duder with the s13 crashed and lost his family - turns out hes the ass that fled the scene... the end... LOL

tokyo drift was entertaining... story was dumb as hell. this was just plain bad. but seeing how this isnt a big time film like tokyo drift, they couldnt do any better.

I just finished watching the movie and I have two questions for anyone that understands japanese 1. was the girl the main character's sister or the wife's sister and 2. what the hell was the boy saying at the end when the main character was beating him? All I could make out was him saying that hes really sorry and something about his brother.

I watched it,seems good to me,at least not that crappy like Initial D the movie(thats only my opinion,so no flame please),storyline is so so,not bad,not good,just typical japanese movie i quess.

u can convert the txt to sub format.

i used this program call Divx Subtile Displayer to watch it however. it allows you to load the movie file and then the subs separate

my take without being able tunderstand any of the words.

this movie has a lot of flashbacks to the first movie - and the kid with hte gto/jzx90 isnt in it. i couldnt tell exactly what was going on - but it seemed to be that he still races bc he enjoys competing, and he races a automatic CAMARO and loses due to the camaro controlling the carby using left foot braking. Then he rides along with a hottie in a miniskirt - in her s15 and then he races her, then learns something that helps him win against the camaro in a rematch.

Using the ebrake can be real drifting. D1 drivers sometimes use the E-brake to get the ass out sometimes.

Theres no "real" drift really.. they are just all techniques you can use.

After you download the 1st file, if you shut down the net and delete the cookies on the options of the internet explorer the waiting time will desapear....

I watch first drift movie and don't like.First scenario sucks.Main carachter is kickboxer and nothing know about racing.He's good driver because ex kickboxer and god-like sense... God-like sense,powerfull car or knowing course not works simple.Who wants be a racer needs many things.

And race scenes;many scene very dark,camera move every second,I think camera man sleeping during record.Some scenes really slow.And not plays any good music.Totally waste of time.

Now I see Drift 3 image this topic.Another guys and better cars.But nothing know about movie.Part 3-4 better than first 2 part? What is story? I can't will waste a time again.

i've ordered the 1st, 2nd and 3rd movie so i can rip them and upload somewhere if you want (it 3 weeks at least at think...) for the moment i have the english subtitle for the 2nd movie if somebody need them. I'm still searching to find the 4 and 5 in hk version (japan version called "deluxe" is too expensive...). I've asked to the guy that sold me the 3 first ones if he can manage to find the last 2 ones... wait and see

i've changed some line in it because there was some issue with them, normally now the english is automatically loaded and there is no more the chinese and english subs overlaping... I can't attach them here cause they are too big (or i can remove the chinese and simplified chinese language but i'm afraid to completely nuke the file...) i upload them on my ftp

The Englisch subs for the second movie work on my computer , but not on my dvd player ( there only the Chinese subs work )

. The first movie workt perfect with the srt-file. Where can ik get de subs in Englisch for the second movie in srt ? ( I realy want to watch the second movie, but being from belgium mij Japanese is limited to a few words and sentences, mij Englisch writing is not that great either )

ok i have converted the sub into srt (not really easy to do...). At some points you will see "#NAME" in it. It's from the original dvd and because i don't speak japanese i don't what is the word hidding under that... If you know, tell me.

the thing is that i think that the 5th haven't been releases yet and the 4th i just can find the japanese version. And the jap version is expensive and not working on european dvd (hopefully i still can rip it watch it after but i don't have menu and others fancy stuffs anymore). I have buy my dvd on yahoo auction singapore, maybe there will be some other interesting dvd later but for the moments i'm running low on cash so...

no problem for the subtitles i can send them to u in idx and sub fomat (takes forever to convert them in srt and i do a lots of mistake each time lol) i still got the raw of drift 5 i think but for the other ones i will have to encode them again and upload them somewhere (i don't upload divx found on the net, i got dvds of each movies).

I can't do it this week. But after why not... take my msn if you want, like that if i forgot you can remind me. I still got drift 5 on my computer if you want to start your work.

for the veoh tutorial i can translate the one that i've done in french and put it in the "header" of my post.

i think it depends on what the file was before it was uploaded. if you're talking about the stuff grunswald uploaded, they are all AVI's. for other people's uploads, you'll just have to take a look and see.

follow the tutorial on the last page if you're stuck.

as said before the movies will be in avi format. I've download several video from veoh and they were all avi so maybe... I have another fine movie to upload but I don't have internet at home anymore (some donload limit story... pain in the ass). I can do it at my university but the upload page doesn't work ( it stucks at 0%) do you know any other way to upload it on veoh using a computer where i can't modify the register ?

edit : problem solved, the veoh software works fine on a flash drive

sorry for that, my veoh account has been removed... i've uploaded everything on rapidshare using a premium account which means that the link should never be done again. i've uploaded them in 200meg archives because the new policy of rapidshare allow free user to download 200 meg and there is no more 90min waiting time between each download which means that you should be able to download a movie in around an hour if you have a decent connexion... not bad...

i've already posted my list on other sites so i got it nicely done. So i ask to the admins could i have a topic dedicated for that to have the list on first page ?

so i've uploaded all the shouto kousoku trial, all the drift (including the new drift 6 and drift ss) and lots and lots of old car related movies (vanishing point, bullit, gone in 60 seconds, etc...) and some of the gumball movies as well...

anyway, if an admin could answer me, it would be helpfull

The translation take about 5-6 hours!
After that there's the typesetting (sub's style), revision, Opening & Ending karaoke, Check and enconding!

It's an hard work but we have a strong passion for the cars

drift 4 and 5 are still available, i haven't checked the others... i've realised that the quality was not really good, i wanted to rerip them with better quality and softsubs but unfortunately i couldn't find somewhere to host them undefinetely and for free (yeah i know, i ask a lot...).

if you want them really cheap, with the subtitles and all of them (when i ordered mines they were two ahead of hkflix and like 10$ less than them) i can give you my contact, i don't think they have a website (I've found them on yahoo auctions initially).

Worst movie ever. It looks so low-budget. It's using a lame engine sounds over and over. Same thing as the camera angle. It looks so bad onscreen. The whole movie was cheesy.
