| Sypnosis: This Project D Fourth Stage Special dvd features racing scenes made entirely with computer graphics, however more advanced cell-shading is to be used to make the CG scenes a bit less conspicuous beside the traditional animation. The plot of the previous 3 stages are fetured as well as the creative staff of the whole Initial D production staff. | Please seed people. Dont be selfish.Anyone that isnt seeding/uploading at least 250mb by the end of the download will be banned/ kicked from the torrent. I dont want to have to do that but we need seeders to keep the torrent alive. So far I can see one person barely seeding for how much he/she has completed. This person is really starting to annoy me since they are taking away everyones speed. So Im going to have a speed limit.So far im the only person with the whole file. Im sure many of you wont like it when I have my settings to no upload like some of you are doing. |

| isn't 250mb a bit low... that's not even 1/4 of the whole total size.. i say 700-900mb would be good...heck if you can seed more that'll be great. once my dl comes to close i'll seed at maxium power |

| *PLEASE READ* I advise extreme caution to this IP address:154.20.197.212. Im 99% sure that he hacked me. Thankfully I know enough about computers to block him and fix the problem. What happened was that slowly my Upload speed went to 0. Everything else was slowly losing connection like my messenger. I checked my Xbox for its connection and it was also lost. I tried restarting my computer but that didnt help either. I did a virus scan and nothing was found either. Once I banned his IP address everythingstarted back working again. Thats why I believe he/she did it. If I were any of you I would block him with your Firewall if you have one. I'm going to tell an Admin about this too. There shouldn't be hackers in IDW forums. Ive been to another forum tht was hacked. He was banned, I think that this person should be Banned too. |

Yes, When you are finished downloading the file you just leave it open for others to downlod from you(uploading). Also make sure that the settings are set to uploading. You dont want to be uploading at a pathetic 3kb per second when you have DSL or Cable. |

to use bit torrent all you have to do is download a bit torrent client, i recommend the client ^^^^ in the first post by takumi trueno and then after you installed it all you have to do is right click on the torrent file that takumi trueno posted and choose "Save Target As..." and save it anywhere you want in your computer. Lastly, all you need to do is open up the small file that you have saved and it will ask you where you want to save it....then choose where ever you wish to save it to. then the download will automatically start.  enjoy~ REMEMBER: keep your downloaded windows open as long as you can for other people to get a chance to download the file too!! P.S. if you wish to resume it then all you ahve to do is open up the torrent file that you have saved again and save it where you originally saved your previous download file i have juss finished watching it...its a great preview to Fourth Stage if you guys havent seen Fourth Stage yet then this is a must get file the audio quality is great... the video quality is great... what else can you ask for? keep up the good work takumi trueno!! |

| This is my first time ripping a DVD and so far its the best quality that I have ever seen. If any body wants something ripped I have every DVD of Initial D so just ask. I heard somewhere that there is no good quality of Extra Stage so I may rip that if enough people want it. Do you people want Initial D Extra Stage too? |

| If your talking about the Prelude to Project D file then its a little more then 1900mb(1.9gb) . If your asking about how big my ripped version of Extra Stage is, then I don't know yet. I havent ripped it yet. Im guessing it will be a little over 2000mb(2bg). Probably more then that though. But if I'm gonna rip Extra Stage, enough people will have to want and download it. Two people wanting a file may not be enough for me want to rip it. |

| Well 2bg of DVD quality video is worth the space. Its not like it is wasted space.Please don't complain about the download speed. Im using all of my connection right now just seeding this torrent. Thats why I need others to seed. Edit:One person is about to finish their download they are 98.6% done. PLease help me seed. Right now there is only one other seed. The speed of other peoples downloads depends on how many there are uploading(seeding) |

okay my DL is near complete...if the speed keeps up i'll be done in approximately 15 mins..okay so what i'm going to do is when the DL finish i'm going to restart the computer and burn my brother a game (he's been bugging me about this since yesterday and i promised him i'll do it after the DL finished) and once the game finishes i'll come back and *super seed* for you guys... and i'm hoping i'l be able to seed all day today *unless my dad turns off the comp  * but yeah... guys...today's the day to DL if you want seeds...cause tomorrow i'm not seeding....my comp won't even be on... i gotta give my computer a good 1 day's rest  but all and all thanks to takumi trueno for going through all this and baring with all of us and seeding for us all... you are the ownage |

| Just let the download window open if you want to seed. Remember to config it so you are uploading at the maximum possible speed. |

| Rather than using the mp4 codec.... if you encode the video in fansub quality (divx or xvid at ~8-900 kb/s), you could greatly reduce the file size. A 2gig mp4 file would reduce to approx 6-700 MB in divx/xvid at 800kb/s. And the video quality would not degrade much at all.... (see fansubs). The easiest program to do this would be VirtualDub. Reducing the file size by encoding it in divx or xvid would make it a lot easier to share the file |

| I want to download this, but I want to make sure with you guys before i do. For some reason(I think it's a memory issue, bittorrent really uses memory doesn't it?), if I leave my bittorrent running for, maybe over 3 days straight, it crashes my computer(everything freezes). First of all, if I have the file done, would I be able to restart the download, and start seeding right away? If you want more seeds, I suggest you submit it to anime.mirkx.com or suprnova.org |

| This is an HK dvd but somehow the subbing was messed up. I bought the axact one thats at Jack a Deal. ihave no idea what happened to the subbing. PLease dont complain too much. I knew someone would eventually ask something about that. Just please be happy with the quality of the video. I know that the subbing is not the greatest, but please just ignore that bad parts. Thats the only Initial D dvd that I have that did that. |

| welp...my seed's been up all day guys... and now i'm finally back home... i hope my seed's been doing okay...looks like i uploaded 847mb more since i restarted my comp but i watched about 27 mins this morning....shiet it's awesome...i really like it and i just hope it gets even better later on [edit] watched all of it.... man it's really good... i really liked the recaps... it was really put together really well to explain the story. and they're saying they want heavier music for 4th stage? i rather they bring back the euro |

| We need more seeds, I'm the only seed and I wont be seeding too much longer. EDIT: Just watched some of it, for some reason, after about 1 hour and 10mins, there's absolutely no audio. And also, i can't seem to use my video player (dviX player) to skip all the way to the end, it just goes back to the beginning. Has anyone else had any such problem? |

| LIke I said in the begining I used the Mpeg-4 codec ver3. Its obviously a special codec. Try getting the k-lite codec that will most likely fix your problem. |

| can someone tell me how to burn this into dvd format so i can watch it on my dvd player? i tried using nero vision express but that took up 10 hours and when it was done and played it... the quality was really poor...the screen gets blurry and can't read the subtitles |

| To burn any of my rips to a dvd you can encode it yourself to a .vob format and burn using Nero or whatever other DVD burning program. I heard you can use Roxio Media Creator and it will encode for you in the burning of the DVD. I dont burn much to dvd because of my huge hard drive I just dont bother. | It's free, don't complain... As for burning it to DVD, get a program such as Main Concpet MPEG encoder and encode this sucker into MPEG with layer-2 audio(PCM takes up too much space). I've tried directly sticking this into Easy Media Creator, but it takes up to much space (6 gigs!). After you've encoded it to MPEG, get a program such as TMPEG DVD Author or maybe Ulead DVD Movie Factory or something. |

| That will happen every once in a while. There is no big problem. All you have to do is download the torrent again in the same place you just did as usual. I dont know why this happens because the tracker isnt down. If it ever gives the mesage, just re-download it. If you check right now, people are still seeding and there are people still downloading. The tracker is fine. |

What are you talking about? You dont need to have a dvd burner to watch my rips. My rips are just videos. Just an .avi file that you watch on your computer. Also if you check,I always try to give the synopsis(brief description of the storyline) for any of the video torrents that I release. |

| All I can say is that is all that there is. Unless someone fan subs it, there will be no other subtitles then the HK one. That is the official HK dvd that I got from Chinatown. I dont know if it was just me that was unlucky to get this one bad subbing dvd. But that all there is. Unless you want no subtitles or I rip it with Chinese subtitles. Just please be happy with what you got. I was mad too but just please accept it. Again this is all that is out there un less some one can prove me wrong and please show me where I can get it. Also please dont make the situation worse by saying WTF, I did all that I can. Im going to try to get another "Prelude to Project D" dvd with better subtitles. This is the only torrent I have made which isnt all that it could be. If you saw my rip of Extra Stage, you will see that the subtitles for it are great. |

Is it just Keiichi presenting a behind the scenes look at initial d fourth stage or are there some extra scenes that explain the story with extra details not like in fourth stage where there is nearly 100% racing and talking about racers' auras and freaking special skills? |

| finished watching this and i do agree, the subbing was just horrible names were changed and mixed up, the order of what people said was changed, it had so much condradicting sayings (expecially when bunta was talking), and whats up with chap anyways, the rip quality was good, and most of the things theyve shown ive seen already |

ANYWAYS, as it must've been said at least 10 times be4 make sure you seed. that way EVERY1 can get it. also heres a description 2 those who only read the last page lol.

Picking ports is no problem at all as long as your XP firewall(if you hav it) is disabled, and possibly other firewalls are disabled/configured. You only need to pick ports if you have a router I beleive, even then, it's not hard at all even a 13 year old can do it. |

| OK, I know that the subtitles were badd on this dvd of mine but its the only one in which they are bad. The subtitles are out of my control. And yes for those who have watched my rip of Initial D Third Stage Special Disc have seen that the subtitles are much better. |

| I'm sorry to say this but this rip is not good. The image is worse than a avi file with 700MB and 85minutes long. The subs are crap. Now you know why i hate avi files with the subs on them. I can't do anything to get a better quality. The size of this file is insane. 1,92GB for almost nothing. The rip is not good, it looks like a tv rip because of the lines on the video. In my mind if all your rips have this image you should learn more about how to rip better. The subs i know it's not your fault but you could rip just the video and than put the subs. If they are out of the avi file we can do everything to get a better final work. This is a tv rip for me not dvd rip. The audio could also be better since is a dvd source. |

| This is the quality of the rip. It has nothing to do with me. If you have seen any of my other rips you will be amazed. Dont complian. The dvd itself wasnt that good of quality. I dare you to download any of my other rips and then you tell me if its bad quality or not. Also make sure you have the right codecs. Edit: I have checked the video again and there isnt "lines" or whatever your talking about. Make sure you have all the codec and video acceleration up all the way. I have watched videos without the proper codecs and I think I know what you are talking about. Still this is the only rip thats not good quality. I dare you to get one of my other rips. Will you take this dare? Also dont come and tell me about how I dont know how to make proper and good quality rips. |

| The lines are not visible every time. It's like when you rip something and when something is moving you get like some scanlines on where the object was. It's not about codec or mey pc because if it was codec, virtual dub would not open the video, and a message asking me to get the right codec would show up. I have de mpeg 4 codec, this kind of things happen to me too when i dont configure the program right when i'm saving the file. I'm not saying that your other rips are bad but this on is more on the subs that are crap. Now you know why i hate files with the subs on them. You can fix the errors and need to deal with them. |

| Actually if you dont have the right or updated codec, it wont always tell you that you dont have it. I have wathced some videos like my rips with out the proper updated dodec and it doesnt look any good. I got the codec again and now its back to normal. Anyways tryout my other rips, Im sure you wont be dissappointed. Will you get any of the other rips? |

If there should be more people coming in and just complain about things then a minimum of 30 post restriction will be enforced. As for the 'scanline' problems. Yes, those are interlaced video. I am not sure which program Takumi Trueno used for ripping the DVD, but I doubt that program deinterlace all the frames. On the other hand, Godian Knot does deinterlace all the frames so you won't see those 'scanlines'. You can check out my Best Motoring Vol.6 for an example. |

| Thats the word that i didn't remember interlaced. If it is a tv rip is ok to have this, bot just because you rip from a dvd disc does not mean that it is a dvd rip quality. I can burn on a dvd disc one video encoded with div-x about 75kbps and than rip and get a 500MB file and say that it is a dvd rip quality. I didn't tell that i was not understanding the subs, i can get the with no problem is just the visual of them that i hate. Even so you could encode the video with a div-x or xvid codec. That would be better, i mean the size of the video. I am downloading the Best Motoring but it's stuck in 28% even with 1 seed. If you rip with virtual dub this does not happen ith the video unless you whant. On the other hand, you keep thinking that this is a codec problem, you just say that we need MPEG 4 codec but there are a lot of them, a lot of packs with the MPEG 4 codec just like Div-X that has a lot of versions. Post a link with the one that you use but i'm shure that would not make the diference for me. |

He could deinterlace the video so people who don't know about this don't stay with a image like that. | Mmm ... maybe you don't have the appropriate codec. Personally I recommend Gordian Knot codec pack, but it contains adware. So if you do get that codec pack, make sure you also get Ad-Aware 6.0 to get rid of any adwares in your system after the install. You can also try K-lite codec pack. |

| Well, as long as you've somehow verified your file isn't corrupt using crc32, (maybe we should include that in future torrents?) it's most likely a codec problem. Hmm, I can't really explain what crc32 is perfectly, basically its a unique code of numbers that can be generated from a file. If you download anime, you'll see the bunch of numbers in [square brackets]. Once you download the file or burn it to a disc or what ever, download a crc32 calculator(google it, I'm sure theres quite a few) and match it up with the number in the name. |

All that happens is the picture quality not being at what it is supposed to be. A 512MB RAM, Im not sure if thats enough. I mean my videos are pretty much dvd quality including the sound. Anyways for now you can just work with different codecs. You already got the K-lite codec pack, so if that doesnt work then nothing will. |

| first off I have to say thx for the file...seems like an interesting intro to the 4th stage just wanted to say that it is possible to get rid of the interlacing you see all over the video (the black lines you see everywhere when you see movement) if you use a deinterlacing filter while encoding. Also, it is usually possible to save a lot of space if you can ivtc (inverse telecine), a process where you return the video to the original frame rate it was filmed/animated at since most likely the original film was 24 frames per second or less so 30 fps is really wasting a lot of space (6 out of 30 are duplicates). I guess for this video file though you probably can't ivtc it easily because the parts where there's live video probably was originally 30fps but ivtc would help other files like the initial d extra stage. here's a guide for divx encoding if you wanna check it out http://www.doom9.org/gknot-main3.htm thx again for the file...I'll be seeding for a while |

| This will be my way to say sorry. 512MB of ram is enough even if is dimm. I use to play videos with dvd quality better than the 4th stage raws, and ac3 audio and they were ok. If you don't have the codec, the sound can start before or after the video. All you need to do if you have the codecs and everithing is to get Virtualdub and change the starting time of the sound. |

| seeding might not be possible for everyone. i seeded a few files (not this one) and my internet provider sent me a warning saying i d/led over three times the limit and uploaded about 1.5 times as much (50GB up + down limit, i did 130-something down and 70-something up). i dunno if the math adds up, but you can see that seeding might be hard for some. o yeah, they threatened to cut us off since that many people were complaining. this is over the course of a month btw. |

| Unfortunately, my club has limited time remaining this year, so we can only show Fourth Stage. But yeah. Second Stage is coming out on DVD, and I've seen Third Stage in an official trailer, so I'm sure that it's coming out as well. I just hope that they release all of the remaining Initial D content after that (read: Prelude to Fourth Stage). (Seeing Third Stage in theaters would be neat, except for the damned name changes). |

| I finally managed to get the file from one polish pay per download server. It is a hardsubbed video. I don't know, who made those subtitles, but there are many mistakes and nonsenses in them. I wanted this video for my project Initial D česky (I'm translating Initial D to the czech language), but when I saw what it contains, I can say, that it doesn't worth any effort. 85% of the 1.5h video is repetition of racing scenes from first to third stage. Only the last 12 minutes worth watching. In this last part there is a making of document and interview with creators.
