The 180sx was made all the way up until 1998 in Japan. The chassis never changed, however in 1994 they put a blacktop SR20DET in, which was basically the exact same engine as the redtop in the 88-93 EXCEPT the valve cover was black. Not to be confused with the blacktop SR20 in the S14, which got a T28 turbo, vvti, and a bump in horsepower to 220hp. Also the US 240sx S13 came in a coupe model, which is equivalent to the S13 Silvia in Japan... Incase that was confusing, just remember the 180sx = the fastback 240sx. Except the 240sx came with the 2.4L KA. '95 S14 www.projectaspec.com |
