S15 guy: yes indeed i am from adelaide, and yes i do visit the autosalon every year smile.gif are u from adelaide too? if so, what suburb do u live in?

Im in prospect, sorta midscale in terms of pov/rich areas, although i am in the nice area of prospect

Isometric Bacon: 'Adelaidians' rofl i thought i was the only one who used that term, btw what u said about your cousin REALLY has me interested, and here is why - my friend has a friend, apparently this friend of his was 15 last year, and managed to score him self an R33 GTR, after buying and selling imports, using his dads importing biz

now im not sure if we are talking about the same person, but this kid couldnt even legally drive the car when he got it!! lol, v lucky if u ask me, so tell me, are we talking about the same guy?

and another thing DONT BUY THOSE BOOTLEG DVDS @ $180!!! please oh god i hope u havnt bought them yet..

go to 'neo-tokyo' in the city, in an arcade just off hindley st. its right near the maccas with no drive through, they have stage 1 for $99, and the others for not much more i think, but my friend managed to bargain stage 1, stage 2, stage 3 (movie) and battle stage for (im not sure just yet, im aksing him but ill post how much when he tells me over irc)

also, if ur in adelaide, GET DOWN TO AIR on feb 8 (i think its this coming weekend) for the 4, 6, and rotor shootout, its gonna be 28 degrees (thats like a good 5 degrees cooler than last year) AND ITS GONNA ROCK HARD

peace everyone

jayson about emmision laws in australia, apparently in the eastern states (sydney, melbourne etc) they are getting pretty hard, but adelaide is always a bit behind, and a bit slacker

so u have more of a chance getting away with unlawful stuff on ur car smile.gif

rotaries still get a hard look over though, usually

Cheers for the advice man! I went into town just yesterday with some friends to see if there were any Initial D stuff, but the two stores I found "Movie Maniacs" and "Comic Collectibles" (something like that, I forget.) but they were both closed on sundays... Garr!

I live near marion shopping centre, in Seacombe Gardens, so it's quite a bit far from you.

I wouldn't be surprised if we are talking about the same guy (my cousins son with the GTR) Because how many 15 year olds are out there with GTR's? (he's 16 now, but he WAS 15 when he got it...) And YES, he did buy it with his own money, after buying and selling a Supra 2JZTE... the import you mention through his dads buisness.

Would the name Tyson Vozzo mean anything to you? Because that's him. I don't know him very well, as I only see him every few years or so, but his younger brother (around 13/14, I don't know) also has a R32.

And please tell me about how much your friend paid for the set, thanks.

As for Air, sounds good. I'll just have to con some friends into coming with me...

BTW... Do you have AIM or MSN Messenger by any chance?

that's why in canada... fwd or awd cars are a better choice for cars rather than rwd due to the snow and slipperyness... that's if you're planning on using the car for the entire year, not just let your car rot in the garage while accumulating rust during winter... tongue.gif

There's Adelaideans here?!? Awesome. I myself am a proud resident of Australia's worst city  laugh.gif

Hey, Adelaide isnt Australias worst city (although its far from best). Surely the worst city would have to be Darwin, Perth or Hobart.

I usually go the 4's, 6's and rotors, but not this year. Did you hear that JMS are not running drift comps out at Pt Gawler?

http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/events.htm ---- check it out

Also, if u head down to wingfield (near the actual JMS shop) on friday night, there are usually people drifitng there, a lot of people show up sometimes, then the cops usually come and tell people to piss off and nobody goes back there for a while.
