- A theatrical version of Initial D is confirmed for release in August 2014. [Official Thread]
- UPDATES : Animax has confirmed that Final Stage will be available on its subscription-based VOD (Video On Demand) service starting May 16th, 2014. It will continue where Fifth Stage left off. Consist of a total of four episodes, Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji. [confirmed]
- UPDATES : Avex has confirmed that the New Initial D The Movie will be a trilogy. First part of the trilogy is called Legend 1 -Awakening- slated for release in theaters on August 23rd, 2014 (Japan Only) [confirmed]

I kinda want to say the GT86 (lul) but nah where the hell did he get the money to buy a new car ? i think he'll race with the Impreza. What is this "S2000 theory" ? If this was the manga, i would think one of his choices might be an FC. I remembered him being interested in the FC early on the manga. I admit they were more right than I was in one or two places.. wrong on one... but overall, kept the translation rather neutral.. Translated it meaning for meaning instead of trying to capture the character or the drama.. Rather professional.. something you can't hate.. Btw... 86-239 <-- WOW nice observation... Initial D Live Action UK Stage Group: Members Posts: 120 Member No.: 38,511 Joined: Apr 5th 2012 Location: United Kingdom | Maybe Bunta's last favour was to turn the 86 into a time machine so Takumi could see the GT86, but the problem was they went so far forward we missed the Takumi vs Keisuke rematch, then he tries to fix it by going back in time and ends up in Iketani's S13 at the back, at first stage and is really scared because what the heck just happened!
