I thought this was already known. Third Stage was the one true HD remaster among Avex's Initial D BDs. There are even clips floating around of the Battle Stage rerelease that show the remastered Third Stage footage in all their glory. As for the perceived color-grading differences between the BD and the DVD, I'd just chalk that up to taking a camera pic of a TV screen in a dark room and not adjusting the exposure. | ||

Can you confirm that Third Stage has color correction/brightness differences over the DVD, or was it just your camera and/or TV settings? | ||
