New show this season about (and I shit you not) battle royales for supermarket bento boxes the instant they get marked for special discounts Due to the nature of the show, there's naturally a lot of fighting with some humour sprinkled in every so often so I guess a proper classificaiton to go by is an action-comedy. It's a nice fun watch where you can just switch your brain off and go despite the ridiculous setting and subject matter it chooses

Haha the premise sounds funny. I'll keep an eye on this.

Which fansub is good?

GG or EveTaku.

GG is slightly faster but people seem to dislike GG in general, i dunno what team they have working on this so i can't say for sure but "you can't have faggots without GG" is something that i see get thrown around a lot lol. Not too sure how speed consistent EveTaku have been on their previous shows, but i think they do finish what they start sooner or later though.

In the end i say GG for speed or EveTaku if speed isn't an issue.

Episode count? I think i'll pick this up if it's 13. Damn premise sound soo ridiculous, but the Japs have made more awesome shows with less than that.

Oh, and fun fact. The kanji for the number 10 can be read as 'To', so...

I think I would enjoy it more if they didn't have so many bouncing tits... it gets boring with the amount of repetitions they put it

That aside, its a nice, weird premise that strikes a chord with me when I go to the supermarket at night

It didn't turn out as what I expected; was expecting a story about how people would struggle in a realistic way (or funny in an Arakawa Under the Bridge way) to get their half-priced bentou like wait tactics, marketing psychology, and how to fight against housewives. Lol. I was kinda turned off when they started showing bouncy boobs and butts; it's a bad sign that the anime is going to be really cliched. But I'll still watch on to see where it goes.

I finally know what the Japanese song in the supermarket means! I always hear that in Japanese food section in a supermarket I frequent! I went, 'Hey, that's the same song!'

Seriously man, this is a crazy serious anime constructed around something mighty trivial. Might as well see this to the end.

The Ice Queen has me dangerously entranced.

I am most eager to learn how this story will develop.

This is probably the best way I've seen someone describe the show, except I'd say it's more typical shounen than crazy serious

And while everyone's already seen the show I do have to admit that I was slightly disappointed the actual nature of the show wasn't as wacky as I initially thought it to be =/ Fanservice was a little off-putting for me as well, but then I remembered how much more tame it is when compared to other shows nowadays. Atleast it's restraining itself from pantyshots and constant clothing damage so far. Judging from things so far I don't think the fanservice would actually go that far though which hopefully ends up being a true prediction

Probably this would end up as a light harem (under 5 girls)... We already have Ice Queen, Brunette, and the classmate. Plenty of males like Wizard, Goatee, and Monk, too... I don't think that crazy lesbian would end up with Saitou.

I guess this is the line, it starts to feel really generic now that the blond girl appeared. Still a bit outside the norm, the fanservice stayed pretty light (discounting the blond's thighs and topside of bewbs).

I'd like to know what is up with the database on the wolves. How is half priced food going to need that dramatic of a foreshadow?

lol, as typical as this has may've become I still enjoy watching it. It's not like the show is trying to take itself seriously and plus it's been a while since I last watched a typical Shounen like this so I'll stick with it till the end.

Plus I like watching Oshiroi and her various antics too

Well didn't expect Monarch to go down that easily, so much for that starving power-up. Now that the Mini-boss is over, I wonder when the real boss is gonna show up

i dont find the series that intruiging as for the food fights. its really the characters' behaviours/traits that i find more interesting. its an ok anime to watch until other series' episodes come up to watch.
