I have seen a large interest of modellers hoping to work on Initial D Car models n other models such as gundams..so i have decided to start this thread to help some of the members and allow them to show off their masterpieces!

I have grabbed my pics from the ID fujimi models thread that turned into a gundam discussion

This is my Kampfer from about a 2 years ago. I had to dust it off alot when i put it in my new display case a week ago, still some dust on it, will work on getting that off later..haha..btw..these pics were taken 3 days ago as well

As for my collection of models..one note b4 u look at them is that the Perfect Grade Wing Zero Custom sux, so dont bother with it. and i was soo frusturated with its crappiness that i didnt do too well on it..haha u will see

meh I don't have any model cars but I've got plenty 1/24 scale diecasts. I have one 1/144 scale gundam model (RX-78NT1 "Alex") and one gundam "kit" think that you simply assembled the armor onto. I haven't touched it in years until yesterday. all of the parts on the legs are hard to stay on. pain in the royal federate ass.

btw, 1/24 diecasts include...
Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34 / Blue)
Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA18B / red)
Mazda RX-7 (FD3S / dark green / JDM front)
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI (yellow w/ fake black carbon fiber hood & wing)

Its a SuperSlicks RC car, with some borrowed parts from some Muscle Machines die cast cars. Underglow is a red surface mount LED, also, yeah, Vinyl =/ , I'm planning on making a front lip and sideskirts as well, and trying to give it a D1 car appearance.

Oh, and while I'm thinking about it. This attached one 2F2F Skyline body. I painted it.

btw, i would re-do it all, its jst all the insides and windows are in the bin laugh.gif nvm, il jst get another one, planning on getting a fd instead next, so i dont need to mask anything biggrin.gif

pk whats better tamiya or fujimi? i have been told fujimi somtimes tends to send incomplete kits and somtimes the tires are too small. i think tamiya is better but tamiya hardly has alot of Import cars. i wanna get the GT FOUR but i wanna change the rims, does anyone know of the fujimi sperate rims can fit on the tamiya GT FOUR?

yea they should do, bt it depends wt the car model takes, because the wheels are split into male and female,the male ones come with a little nobbly thing to stick in, and the female, err well its jst a hole, lol

I have to say I struggle a bit with assemble the fujimi car model but with the tamiya one its much easier and it looks better

ok well i know that tamiya makes a 180sx i think its the rps13 , i went to scaleautostyle.com i think thats the name it has like body kits and wings for the model cars and it says that the body kit the 180sx has on the picutre is only compatible with a tamiya 180sx kit, do you know where i can find this kit?, i really want it

does anyone know if ebay is safe for buying model cars, friends told me that somtimes they dont send what you look at. im trying to get a celica gt four tamiya, but in my near by hobby shop there selling it for 28$
and in ebay they have it for like 14$

There isnt many japanese model cars here of Tamiya...in Belgium

most of them are Porsche , Ferrari , Benz , BMW ...

hmm, havnt posted in this topic for awhile, anyways, i recently found my deathscythe custom in a draw, buil it about 2yrs ago, and decided to take everything apart and rebuild it, right, now, ive jst done sanding everything(before u can still see the tree marks, lol) and sanded the joints for move movements, bt i kinda sanded abit too much no 1 arm, lol!anyways, jst got 1 leg+arm to do, and i have to wait till my brother gets back from HK to bring back my sprays and putty(ogmogmogm first time using putty biggrin.gif)

gonna spray it white/black/blue biggrin.gif hehe wing ver ka style tongue.gif

btw, anyone have any pics of the deathscythe custom built?tyty

i got 2 1/100 deathscythe customs, a special edition, and a normal 1, and am working on the normal biggrin.gif need to find the hands tho, lol, i took them off because i used it for some other model biggrin.gif

u can make ur own stuff basically, this is gonna be my first time using putty, hehehe gonna be hard, am gonna try make a widebody ae86 with the bodyshell u can see from my previous post, lol

its all in japanese ...

but I look at this gundamshop.com , they have also a lot of tips how to make your gundam look good


Nice pics but I dont think its that kind putty..

the putty I was talkin about , is a gray liquid thing in a tube

I bought the 1:24 Initial D RX-7 FC3S yesterday. Assembly is screwing the chassis/interior to the shell, screwing the front and rear bumpers on, and then instering the axels for the wheels then pushing the wheels on. Easy assembly, awesome car. I already had a green 1:24 FD3S so the Keisuke figurine sits by that and the Ryousuke figurine of course sits by the FC.

The FD is quite a bit smaller even though it's also "1:24" but the people who made my FD didn't do the best job scaling.

it's a diecast model. I explained all there is to the "construction" process. All you have to do to the body of the RX-7 itself is screw on the bumpers.

The FD is purely diecast.

duno, ive only jst sprayed the foot, and filled it with some stuff to make it heavier.My bro sud be bringing the white spray around 10-20 of september, the weather hasnt been all that great, so i cudnt spray that much

btw, do u think it will look good?i mean like the colour matching, because the legs are gonna be errr blue, not really dark, not really light,and white wings, and u know that yellow V shaped thing thats on the head, am planning on spraying that white too, wt do u think?

the FD3S came with an MX-5 (red) and that was $12 USD I think (Ross, lol. The FD is identical to the one Jackadeal sells) and then the FC3S was $16 USD at Wal-Mart

Are you using Auto Focus or Manual Focus?

Manual focus- fix it by playing around with the focus settings (if it's like one of the Nikons with the big lens, fiddle with the lense)
Auto Focus- it should do it itself, maybe you have MF on, in that case, try turning AF on.

Do i want a motorsport car(such as Xanvai Skyline), a sports car(such as Z33) or a super car(such as the enzo)

Of course, tamiya has great detailing no matter how old their kit is, so its all good.

anyways..my suggestion is to go with the Enzo Ferrari or teh Xanvai Skyline

the Xanvai skyline has carbon decals and photoetched parts

Just wondering, is there a Model Kit brand out there that makes it's kits with the option of it's doors closed or open? Or do all model kits have the doors molded to the body and you just have to cut it out to model the doors open?

If ya think about it, all of the dubcity line has chrome engines

it stands 50cm high and 1m with the sword in place
im not sure about width..but its WIDE

hmm, nothing related to gundam, but am just planning my project for when i have a holiday from college, its gonna be based on my old nsx i just found in my draw laugh.gif and omgomgogmogm my brother had this tube of putty in the celler and didnt even tell me, so yea, found it today, and am planning on giving the nsx a nice make-over, prob a wide body, and some deep rims, but the problem is, i cant find the side mirror thingys, so il prob have to make my own sad.gif and il prob make my own Gt spoiler + do some hood convertion, what do u guys think?

Paint is drying as we speak.

meh. turned lights off and used flash because lights on was shit. The trunk came out a little bubbly. Tomorrow I'm going to put some paint thinner on and maybe redo it.

While I was looking and finally finished my set of six 1:24 Die Cast for Initial D. I found a Rover Mini out of all cars as a Initial D car with Akina team sticker on it. I wonder if it can even drift. I know it rules in rally's but Drifiting?! Lol! hahah, makes me laugh! I even have pictures, which I will be sending later tonight.
