Arnot Mall
Elmira, NY
Cost : 3 tokens (.75 cents) to play, 3 tokens (.75 cents) for a card
2 Seats for Version 3

NOTE: If you do TAs there, you will most likely have a model record or a course record.

Examples of the times on the machines:

Akagi DH Dry - 2'31"xxx.
Akina DH Dry - 3'13"xxx.
Tsuchisaka OB - 2'50"2xx.

A lot of battling goes on there. So, if you need battle levels, it's a good place to go.

Dunno if this has been posted, doesn't seem to be any east coast MA locations posted here so here it is

Massachusetts:
Salem Willows
Salem, MA
V3
1$ start/1$ cont./1$ card
Condition: No feedback in wheels and the shifter sometimes gives random misshifts or upshifts/downshifts twice for one

Good Times Emporium
Somerville, MA
V2
1$ Start/1$ cont./1$ card
Condition: Rocket seats (last time i went) the condition seems ok but I can't tell if there is feedback or not, it's weird

New Hampshire:
Funworld (guessing about 50 minutes from boston, 30-40 depending on traffic from Malden or Medford)
Nashua, NH (right over MA state line)
1$ start/1$ cont./1$ card
Condition: Almost Perfect, left side wheel is a tiny fraction off center but I don't even notice it, right side shifter messes up sometimes but hasn't recently, probably fixed

If you don't mind going FAR east coast, there is a Version 2 in Somerville, MA at GoodTimes Emporium. It's a bar/arcade. It's pretty good though because they have tons of big screen tvs. I would love to race you since all the people here are noobs/fishers. I beat this guy about 15 times with boost on but then i lost on iro rev wet on the last turn. Here's the website if you're interested. The machines are in good condition, except no sound on left cab as of right now and left card reader ate my 8-5. Other than that it's good. They also have TONS of fighters but I dont think anyone plays. Also have lots of racing games and shooting games.

Also, English machine. GT is slightly North of Boston.

Just ask if you have any questions.

Eight On The Break - Dunelin NJ

$0.75 Start
$0.75 Continue
$0.00 Battle Win (free Game)
$1.00 Renew/Make Card

Best spot in NJ imho, cheap plays, good atmosphere, not many n00bs, and they're open practically all night.

...If you dare to,

Freehold Raceway Mall
Freehold, NJ
$1.00 Play
$1.00 Continue
$1.00 card make
Free play for battle winners

I'd say avoid the freehold one though at all costs, they've proved to be inconsiderate to players at times, although they do keep their machines stocked; The Break is out of cards atm.

Probably been posted but here's my list. All of them at 4 tokens to play. 4 tokens for a card as well.
GENERAL
-All Golflands-At least 2 V3 cabinets.

SAN FRANCISCO
-Metreon- 2 Initial D V3 cabinets

SANTA CRUZ
-Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk - The arcade all the way at the end of the boardwalk, the really big one. Theres 2 V3 cabinets

MILPITAS
-Cyberhunt located in Great Mall - Cyberhunt has 2 V3 cabinets. Expect it to be crowded, it IS the mall.
-Movie theaters located just steps away from Cyberhunt - 2 V3 cabinets. I think you need a movie ticket to go inside. An employee checked me for movie tickets when I went there.

SAN JOSE
-Oakridge Mall - My friend said theres V3 cabinets at the arcade there. I haven't been to Oakridge though.

I believe all of them allow free play for winners.

Oh yeah. I know Las Vegas locations as well.
-Luxor - Has 2 V2 machines. I don't know about V3, because I only hung out in one part of the arcade. Theres a Flight Simulator there too. smile.gif
-Circus Circus - AWESOME arcade. 2 V3 machines. Dollar for card, dollar for play.
-The Bellagio - 2 V2 machines. One of them didn't have sound when I went there.
I didn't go to Gameworks when I was at Vegas, but I heard they got V3 cabinets there. They also have a Cycraft cabinet as well.

If there is IDAS at Main Event down off Bryant Irvin road I will go check it out. maybe saturday. hmm I wonder if they charge to get in. I think they run a kind of chuck e. cheese type deal. I have been to that Main Event before, but it was at the after prom party for our high school and that was years ago.. plus we went bowling and played laser tag.. so I didn't really look into the arcade much.

edit:

although I do see that. 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. unlimited game card for only $10?... that's crazy.. XD

Are there any recent locations in Dallas? Just went to Speed Zone today for unlimited arcade games, but the machines were both bugged. Left machine had loose steering wheel, and right machine chair was broken. On top of that, the machine didn't take cards. Just looking for a closer location than Fort Worth or Arlington, because that drive seems like hassle just to play an arcade game laugh.gif

Your best bet is probaby gonna be NC. We have ID4 and Max Tune 3 in Hope Mills NC. Basically right next to Ft. Bragg. Can be a 2-4 hour drive though depending on where you live.

Unlikely. However, there are a couple of Ver. 3s lying around somewhere I heard. The gameplay is really similar.

Posted by: SonicSP Mar 12 2015, 11:13 AM
There are four D8 machines in one of the Sega arcade centers in Akihabara. Cost to play is 100 Yen and cards are 500 Yen if memory serves. There's another Sega building nearby that has two machines as well.

Might as well add this to the worldwide list for completionist sake.

Hello,

There is a Version 5 machine at Game Underground in Natick MA, the fixtures say version 4 but the system is programmed for 5.

However they do not provide data cards, you would need one from another machine or to try your luck on Ebay, <--this worked for me.

$1.00 to play, 2 machines.

Hope to see some more players there!
