err... Maybe you haven't renew card before? When you renew card, the old card will be out from machine with a mark 'EXPIRED', then just go into renew process. The error might occur during the renewing process.

The 'EXPIRED' card will be useful when the method above was failure. So, Please keep your 'EXPIRED' card everytime after renew. PM me if someone cannot recover data by using the method above.

Have you threw your "EXPIRED" card away???if not it can be saved...I think...
Just try inserting the card at your local arcade centres and see if the error appears again...if so,use the method above and get a new one.

i am a bit confused here...
in the link above...they link to this site ..the chinese version...
http://forum.racegame.org/read.php?tid=44028&fpage=1

translated is this...
1. Enter test
2. Select IC Card Restoration option
3. Choose the Access code (the one on the back of card)
If is not there...you data is gone
4.After you found the code, select restore and press the test button
5. insert you expired ID card
6. After awhile...the machine will say Finished Normally...
7. take your card, exit test, start the game...
8. renew your card again...

so which one works...the one you posted or the one above...
or does both work???
i have my renewal coming up soon...don't want to lose my data...

hmm hope this steps are only used for restoring lost ID card data not for evil purposes like machine cloning a card or something like that.. trust me its possible i saw those evil things in WMMT2 machines in the past.. its really possible if you have the right contacts.. but please avoid this kinds of things...

On another forum, I saw a discussion about Error 403. One theory is that the technicians might have put the cards in backwards. If your arcade keeps getting these error messages, you might want to ask a technician to open up the card dispenser and check if the cards are inserted properly...
