I've been playing Initial D games for quite some time, but my friend kicks my ass in Extreme Stage without using brakes. "Never use brakes" he says - is this true? He drives an Evo and I drive a 180sx, both fully tuned - if that matters. Thanks! |

It's just the way it works. For example, if you full gas the first hairpin of Akagi DH, you'll lose traction at the apex and your car's engine will stall for what seems like forever before it starts accelerating decently again. However, if you hit the brakes for a moment just as you enter the turn, you won't lose traction or get an acceleration penalty. To get good at IDES, you need to know when and where to brake, and for how long. |

Just focus on doing a clean run, and try to avoid missing your brake points. If you suddenly lose traction and start sliding around uncontrollably for a few seconds, that means you missed a brake point and the game is punishing you for it. Try to memorize the locations where it happens, and try to brake a bit before you reach such spots. If you're braking but are still losing traction at certain spots, then that means one of the following: -You're braking too late or too early. -You're not braking enough. |

When do I unlock the song Bang the fires on me?I know its in the game,I just dont see it yet?  |
