Updated a few things...

Removed a few definitions(such as the 'Teleporting Glitch'), added a bit about half TST and also updated a few older definitions(most notably, edited the wall ramming to give a better definition and also added that it can be done in Myogi)

Updated the Asia section in accordance to who has what records now. Also added the following people/teams: 4g63, Masanori, Luna and Korea Lightnings.

I didnt know where to post this question...

And this thread seemed to be the best... so here it is...

When you eraser a hairpin...
Do you brake while stepping on the throttle or do you completely let off the throttle and then brake then stomp on the throttle at the apex?

I know some turns can be cleared without braking at all...

Im wondering because i was playing around and stomped on the brake pedal until it was my car came to a complete stop... even though it was at 0 khm it was still moving... and when i stepped on the gas while stepping on the brakes at the same time the car could still move...

So...
Does braking while stepping on the gas pedal improve times/car angle on certain turns?

I dont really know how to address this question but for those of you who do understand what im trying to ask please help...

I was advised by someone that without using advanced technique like TST or Feint Drift and even without eraser u can get a good timing.. But I just wanna know if practising with eraser or advanced technique improve your TA times at a faster rate or practising without it be at a faster rate?

Lost Drift - its generally faster to play without eraser until you acheive times within 4-5 seconds of the model record, then try it out, and then try TST when you are about 2-3 seconds.

Chaos Bringer - IMO is common internet lingo for 'In my opinion"

Whoa!

4-5 seconds within MR/WR? I've already got times that close... I thought it was still too early to be using eraser. laugh.gif

Edit: Some of my times are around 3 seconds close to MR/WR... should I be using eraser already?

I see..you have to adjust your upgearing timing/shift points to the best one in oder to break Myogi's timing.. Does this help in Usui too?

Hehehe i just noticed...

I dont think i ever knew what 5i4o really was... or really "used" it

I do something simular to it...???
Like acutally downshifting into 4th before the turn... and instead at the apex

OoOOoOoo... i need to try the actual 5i4o and see what the difference is....

so that means... ive done everything without using basic techs? gosh im retarded!
