Does anyone know specifically anything about it? I recently bought another s12 and I'm trying for na power this time. S12 is a se the only reason i even considered the beams is that its a light and powerful engine from the get go. This is gonna be a drift car too. Looking for 250rwhp all motor, no meth nitrous achly etc straight aspiration.

First off i will do aggressive cams, itbs cam gears haltech etc, 255lph walbro, and also a exhaust header.

I had originally considered BEAMS because I wanted to stay Toyota... but there are better options that are easier, cheaper, more readily available, and can still give you 250whp NA

Honda F series
Honda K series
SR20DET (turbo option, not NA)
Any LS

You mean the 2nd gen 3SGE under the hood of the RS200? Plenty of info out there since it's not exactly a specialty or rare engine.

I'd steer clear of any V-series engine from Nissan. Saying from experience.

That's one of the reasons the VG is not recommended. Lots of weight, not a lot of power to back it up. For something so huge in the engine bay, you'd think you could get a bit more punch out of it. Nope.

Way back when I was just starting to get special hairs "down there", I had a '92 300ZX 2+2 with the chunky fatass VG30DE under the hood. God damn if that wasn't a troublesome pig every other week. It's gigantic, you can't reach anything without removing a ton of shit around it even for basic maintenance, and it drinks premium fuel like water. Ugh.

Lol, I never run premium. Not even my old supra turbo.

I believe this subject has been covered, and I just don't feel like touching it right now.
