Left is Shin Akuma (Shin meaning true) and right is Evil Ryu. Shin Akuma is just Akuma fighting at full potential, holding nothing back.

They'll probably be just boss characters that you can fight if anything.

I was just at family fun arcade and I saw that they finally unlocked evil ryu and Oni akuma.

Oni is not shin its a totally different akuma. But in my opinion Oni is not good he has the body of gouken he reminds me on the final boss in tekken 5. Evil ryu is alright I seen how good hes combos can be.

Just wondering: Has there been any news on whether or not Capcom is going to release SSF4:AE as DLC on the consoles?

So far no news, there have been hints that they may and Guys like Ono have been pressing to have it done.

Officially though, the answer is no.

DLC of Arcade Edition will come out summer time either mid or early not sure which though.

Who Downloaded it?

Arcade Edition erases all the points if you set it to Arcade Edition mode. Since its a completely new game, they had to do the reset, which i can understand. If you go back to the Super Street Fighter IV mode, the points are still there.

I'm loving it, people who just got the new update are pretty bad so heres your chance to gear up to get better.

Oni is awesome, theres many resets you can take with that guy. Jumping Hard Punch > Target Combo 2 > Shoryuken does more damage that the ex half circle kick > Ultra 1. He's NUTS!

They took out Seths jumping long punch move! Ugh boo I dont like that.

I fought alot of Onis and they are garbage. Im using Vega as my main for some reason he is good in this AE version.

There is a new update coming out for Street fighter 4 which is now called Ultra Street Fighter 4

New things:
5 new characters.
Rolento
Poison
Hugo
Elena
???? (Brand New Character)

With 6 new stages
And a new balance system for the Characters
With new game modes in addition to the ones we have now.


All in all I see that these characters are straight ports from Street fighter X tekken which is I guess an okay.

And what I herd was that these 6 (New) stages are also named after the stages from Street fighter X Tekken... I can only hope this will not come to be SFXT is complete fail I really hope they reconsider and just change their minds and bring real new stages.

New game is a hard call now cos i don't think Arcade Edition was maxed out.

Capcom needs to stop milking the cow and make a NEW game instead of consistently rehashing SF4.

Fuck, more SF4 I'm sooo tired of it. I haven't liked SF4 at all. 3rd Strike is the perfect street fighter. I hope if they ever stop making SF4 (if ever) that SF5 is more in the 3rd Strike style because that game is incredible.

Figures... I just bought SSF4AE today too.

A whole new game for 5 characters and some extra stuff. Not to mention, the characters were probably easy to port over from SFxT.

I just wish 3S would regain some momentum outside of Japan. It is my fighting game of choice, but it gets almost no attention compared to IV over here...

For a 14 year old game it does still get coverage, it's on PC / XBL / PSN plenty play it if u ask them.

It is true here in the US the game 3S is still unknown to most past Street fighter 2 players. Street Fighter 4 is the only game that most people know about. Every person that I know I mention about 3S and they always say "I didnt even know there was a Street Fighter 3"? It just not a well known game here in the US unlike Japan.

I'm not saying it's completely ignored; as I said, it is the one Street Fighter I play seriously. It's just that compared to Japan, the 3S scene in the US is a barren wasteland. It doesn't help that a great deal of the older players don't like the XBL/PSN incarnation, so they'll only play on GGPO or in arcades.

Here in Holland the 3S scene isn't big either. I've even seen tournaments where they had to do a last minute cancelation because there weren't enough players.

Ultra is going to be epic though
