Hiya. I'm in NYC and planning to play at CTF more frequently going forward.

I need some help. Back in 2004 I worked at Lazerpark in Times Square and I playyyyyyeed version 3. I played every day. Well I spent some serious years outside of the city, LP closed and I figured I was all done playing ID. Till I found the version 4 in CTF. So today was actually my first time playing V4 and first time playing at all in 7 years. I was AWFUL. I'm pretty upset, I didnt even finish all my races i.e. I timed out.

So I'm lookin for everything I can as far as info and tutorials and vids goes, as far as that helps. I'm willing to time trial alot and review the post screen but really I need some help. Like a person who can play to talk to a bit about how-to with the new drifting.

i used to play at CTF every weekend until they closed down, now it seemed very dead when i passed by a couple of months ago. seems like the WMMT machines are getting more of a crowd. If there was a big get together of all nyc players for once that be cool.

Hey guys!

Just stumbled upon this thread, and I'm beyond excited! I had no idea that CTF still had v4 after it reopened. I guess I just assumed after the overhaul, they lost all their great games.

Any interest/enough people to make a monthly meet up happen? I'd love to get something going!

-Eric

PS - If anyone is interested in v3, 8 on the Break in New Jersey has two great machines, and the place is really rad. We've been making some trips down to play recently.
