Link for more details I'll say this, to me he was a legend, he made many great albums, countless songs (which we couldn't listen to on youtube, etc lol. ALL RADIO BABY) and one fucking legend on the guitar. Guess that party he attended was his last hooray, maybe he knew his time was near? Either way, he'll be missed, and I hope members on here liked him or knew about him, because they are missing out on great party music. That and my mom will be crushed, she loved him.

I read recently he was in hospital with some sort of illness. Sad to see yet another talented musician gone this year. Newspapers are saying he might have died due to complications relating to overdosing on painkillers he's been taking. The afore mentioned bit about him being in a hospital was apparently related to him having overdosed on some painkillers. This post has been edited by BOZZ on Apr 22 2016, 09:02 AM |

More cool points off the meter for them. They are performing an autopsy on him today, so we'll see in a week or two on what was the cause, I don't believe it was the flu as everybody said he had last week. Just saw a Muppets Tonight episode with him in it, when he was the symbol, great episode, funny and a lovely little new song he made for them. Starfish and Coffee. :3 |

More NEGATIVE than a black hole Group: ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 19,345 Member No.: 12,263 Joined: Sep 12th 2005 Location: Update Profile | The reason people don't like him is because of his long, well-documented history of being a selfish egotistical prick that hasn't had a legitimate hit in over ten years and artificially boosted record sales to keep himself relevant after plateauing harshly in the late 80's. He gave away free copies of his latest albums at concerts, but logistically made them part of the ticket sale, so the albums would count as sales on the charts despite nobody actually buying the fucking things. Let's not even go into the whole "changing my name into a symbol" phase to be cool and edgy in the 90's yet not making any decent music. I don't mourn for Prince because I never cared about him as an artist or as a person once I found out what sort of human being he actually was. Yeah, he made some hit songs, but so did a lot of assholes. |

Sorry I'm not a fan of someone who sued his fans for having the gall to download his music.

Look at metallica, bitches still love them, and they haven't made a hit since the 90s when the black album came out. but we'll get into Prince still being relevant and being a great performer another time. |

I was just reminded me about how Kevin Smith at one point was doing a Prince documentary, I kind of wonder if it'll see the light of day now.

I wonder IF he made something on paper to talk about his estate and what will be showed and kept private. I mean, the dude made songs daily, just like they did with 2pac, they'll have albums coming out, but just x20. Also want to see the music videos he made, i'm sure he wasn't just "It's all mine" He probably thought bigger ideas (In a creepy way) when he goes, he'll have stuff to show for years, decades on end after his death. |

What's crazy is how Kevin Smith mentions Prince's producer at the time saying they filmed 50 full music videos for music that hasn't been publicly made available, that's crazy.
