You can't drift in this game. The squealing tires just mean your turning hard, not drifting.

It's called powersliding. Maybe an exception is the Capp but I don't know. I've never seen one do Akina in 3rd person.

This is disscussed alot when it comes to racing

drift- you brake early and gain alot of speed during the corner
grip- either you can brake normally or keep the same speed depending the corner
I like grip

Technically, you can't drift. TECHNICALLY. Most people just refer to it as Initial D drifting (well after a LONG argument, that's the conclusion they come to.)

Heel Toe is based on RACING. This doesn't necesarilly mean it's for drifting. You can heal toe and still grip. In fact, that's what most drivers do anyways.

both techniques work just depends on the car I use both but prefer drifting. Which is next to impossible most of the time unless you know the coarse and the car very well. Best car for both is the FC it is almost as fast as the FD and hase 90 times better handling.

Ok before you say you "drift" in this game, let me get this straight. YOU CAN'T DRIFT IN THIS GAME. The only car that comes close is the Capp, but that't it.

i can drift the coners on all tracks even happo and iro, myogi is the best if you and a friend want to do some team drifting, and heel toe does work you just need to downshift with it and sometimes put it in 2nd for second to shift-lock.

Not trying to be rude or flame, but how can you mess up a heel toe with no clutch. Aren't you just left-foot braking with your foot sideways. I do (not on purpose) and it isn't much different than a normal left-foot brake. And if you mess up it isn't like its gonna stall out or anything. Just wondering... whistling.gif

He can use what ever foot he wants, if he can coordinate both actions syncronously then lucky him. Dont flame him coz he can do it.. as if it really matters on the game. Your times wont change a bit if u use heel-toe doesn't it? Just stick what you're used to. If you wanna try heel-toe then its your choice.
