If you have any questions regarding stock cars, ask here. I have a couple.

1)When cornering, is it better to BC or just floor it all the way?

2)Are six-gear cars better than five-gear cars at stock?

Well...is it just for TA or are you using boost on? In my experience of plain stock cars I find the flooring it is fine, maybe except Iroakaza (or however the hell you spell it) and even then just let go of the accelerator.

I personally find no difference between the two, granted that you are playing auto. If you play manual then I find the five gear cars to be better, simply because you don't shift as often.

...was I supposed to answer them? blink.gif blink.gif

Better to control accel only, which means just release accel a little bit based on the situation. No need to touch brakes since you naturally lose speed during cornering.

Alright, so my first question has been answered.

I thought six-gear cars are better at snow courses compared to five-gear cars?

@Okami: Both TA and Boost On battles.

Well on snow courses it is supposedly better to have a six gear car since there is a greater degree on how fast the car enters the corner, but I think that applies later on then just a plain stock car.

BUT I don't usually play on snow courses so someone else would be better for this.

TA, floor it and accel control. Boost On, you MIGHT need to BC every once in a while but that was a long butt time ago. Again someone might be better suited for this then me,

boost on, bc where you wont lose too much speed compared to normal turning. you want to take boost priority at the end by drifting more than your opponent
