Negative my friend; no one on these forums has the entire SEB collection Vol.1 to Vol.240 ~ not physically in their hands. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of Japanese collectors who don't frequent IDW that have the entire Super Eurobeat anthology ~ however they're not logged-on to the internet world. & if they are, they're anonymous.

It's very difficult to acquire the entire SEB collection of 240+ albums physically ~ even if you have the money to buy them ~ mainly because a large-part of those albums are out of print & Avex doesn't see the point of re-releasing them: given the profit of re-pressing those would be very marginal if not a complete financial loss by a big-record company's standards. Remember that Avex despite being No.1 record company in Japan for a consecutive number of years according to Oricon charts - is still competing with Sony, Universal, Virgin, Toshiba EMI, Victor, Warner, Pony, Lantis, J-Storm, King, etc, etc in the stock market world - cf. this article →

I've been trying to buy a NEW copy of Super Eurobeat Vol.217 for 2,592 JPY cause I love Capaldi & Travis ~ BUT it's completely out of print. (despite being one of the BEST selling Eurobeat albums of all time) go fig ~

Short answer → No one in internet land has the whole SEB collection physically...

Mega NRG Man, real name Tomas Marin, is a singer from Spain, who was the basical Eurobeat project since 1992, at first under A.Beat-C. label, then moved to Go Go's Music in 2007. Now after break returned in a brand new song titled "I'm Back". The latest production by Go Go's Music will be released on upcoming Super Eurobeat Vol. 241 on 19 October 2016.

There was a time in the early 2000's that I was collecting SEB albums. I bought them new when they came out, as well as scavenged the used book and music stores in Japan for the older volumes.

At the time, many used music stores had a good shelf of the odd lineup in some broken order. Rarely full sets, but when you went to a good amount of stores over time, you could easily build the collections. You could find the used discs anywhere from 180-400 yen.

I've moved on from needing to have a hard copy of the music. That's fun and all, but the discs just end up on the shelf taking up space after digitizing the songs.

This brings up another question.
Avex, why not distribute music... digitally? Afterall, it is the <Current_Year>.

^Has a lot to do with licensing between Avex and certain regions of the world for digital stores. Plus, physical album sales are a big thing in Japan still.

I totally agree with you brother ~ distro of flac/wave albums is highly necessary... not just Avex but other international music labels like Interscope, Sony, Warner, etc, etc...

None of them deem it necessary. The farthest they go is 320k mp3's & iTunes m4a's ~ otherwise none of them wants to adopt the Bandcamp model.

Japan is the 2nd biggest music-market in the world ~ with US as 1st & Europe coming in 3rd. However Avex and other J-record companies still make their primary earnings via selling physical discs. I think they're just slow to adapt, cause of distrust for foreign business practices we take for granted since it's 2016; like Japanese people still buy most of their merch with cash...!!? Barely, they're starting to adopt the international-currency, ie. VISA & MasterCard. But they'll probably follow suit with full-fledged lossless albums once the US music industry starts doing it... probably in about 20 years methinks.

Bandcamp is the future ~ but since high school kids can't tell the difference bewteen an mp3 & a wave... international labels will keep pumping their stuff through iTunes & Amazon ~ and for Japanese record Co's... physical discs without re-pressing their catalogue of classics will continue to be the norm, since J-geeks don't seem to complain.

Honestly, it's not that expensive. Most used copies of older SEBs on Amazon run for $12. I've been able to collect physical copies of...

Not the cover tho ~ that's as legit as Shutterstock models get (which isn't really saying much) but I still liked the original SEB Shutterstock cat better.

Hopefully they'll bring'er back by SEB 242 tho

On Eurobeat Prime someone wrote two titles for SEB 241. It's obvious, that a song in progress with Nathalie in the mid of September won't be suddenly the 3rd by SinclaireStyle on the same volume. Too late.

About Niko performance, should we expect a big show? How does it look like the place, stage?

An event on 3 square meters wouldn't be nice.

☆ Hasn't been leaked yet bruv. Usually DJ Command, FN2, DJ Boss, or Remo-con leak the image on twitter/facebook then the SEB Official Avex social media accounts follow up with the official post... I'm crossing my fingers they end up using the Jack Bauer 24 digi-clock idea for the whole 240's decade ~ mwuaha! highly doubtful but... it'd be a neat font to use based on the 24 numeral motif methinks!

They did use Asian models for Eurobeat Flash and did have ganguro/iceman for Euromach. I think the use of white models on the regular series harkens back to the models used in italo disco.

It isn't just Vol. 241 being taken down, Avex is on a take down rampage and have been removing and blocking a lot of super eurobeat releases on youtube and file sharing sites. Long time back I used to share many albums from SEB but Avex eventually got to me and since then I stopped sharing SEB albums.

Do you know how 2400yen is in Canadian Dollars right now? 30.46$CAD, shipping isn't included. So add another 7$ for SAL, 10$ for Air Mail, 15$ for registered Air Mail and 26$ for Express. Luckily, I'm fanatic enough to buy these at this price. But, most likely, 95% of people will NOT pay 37$CAD for a single CD. Do you know why I do what I do? Because of said reason. It's so fucking expensive and I want to share the love to people who can't fucking spend 40$ on a single CD.
