If you have never read the manga series, it's reasonable to say that you probably won't understand much of the anime movie. The movie itself isn't difficult to grasp, but the manga is simply too big to base one movie off of it. Or one could also say that the movie is simply too short to explain a lot of the factors of the manga. There will be some things which won't make sense to you if you have not read the manga. It's worth a look though; I heard it was rereleased some time ago. |
