Yay! New buzzer beater I love that anime since i'm into basketball even though it's kinda unrealistic

You're Under Arrest Season 3?

Whoa, and i havn't even watched the first two yet! >.< Guess i better get started now! XD

Well, I'm watching up the first season of You're Under Arrest (Taiho Shichauzo). This is one anime show that had yet to lose my attention; it's just a great show.

It seems like Clannad's air date is pretty confirmed, so if Haruhi is in the same time slot I guess it'll be push back to Spring 2008.

looking thru the 1st page where posts were from 2005, is it possible that some anime never did come out? i found most on animenewsnetwork, though animenews network failed me for the first time, the anime "finalist" was not listed, even the site myanimelist listed no episodes

Season 3 of Taiho Shichauzo will attract me, a lot.

Whoo-hoo, quite a number of returning series to look forward to yah to add to my list. Haruhi, You're Under Arrest, Macross, Genshiken, etc, etc. My school semester is going to go fast this way.

Uh, yeah, Genshiken 2 makes me a happy bunny.

good to see clannad getting alot of attention. kanon was a good series, i find it will be a good series clannad is quite similar to kanon.

There's a lot of anime I'm interressed in. Those I am the most looking forward too is Haruhii II and Shakugan No Shana II.

What I am looking forward to are these shows:

Clannad, Da Capo, Genshiken 2, Blue Drop, Hidamari Sketch OVA, Shana II, Gundam 00, Dragonaut, Macross F and Code Geass 2 (oh and Haruhi 2).

looks great, animation produced by Gonzo, I could never forget Vandread in which Gonzo did a great job on the CG effects on the mechs, hope they do the same one for this

Anyway I'm still waiting for the next season of Full Metal Panic. It's been so long now but it looks like KyoAni isn't going to prioritize it yet.

Yeah, N1 was saying that FMP was following a pattern of a series every 2 years or so, I think we are supposed to be in line for one this year...

from what I've heard they say that the light novels of FMP are going to be finished by the time they release another season. (or are light novels already finished?) I haven't heard the update of the light novels anymore, I was stuck at COMO, because tokyopop licensed the light novels and I couldn't find any english translated novels on the internet anymore.

Yeah, I think the FMP novels are finished or nearly finished.

Shangri-La Novel adaptation

The premise sounds interesting... Gives me a Toward the Terra feel...

There's another one coming out in 2009 and it's hinted to be the last, but there's no real support to back up that claim (or at least, I don't think there is). Personally, I'd like to see the novels translated (either by fans or by TokyoPop) before the new anime series. I mean, some people was translating Volume 8 (of the main storyline), but then they quit about 2/3 of the way through. *sigh* From the looks of it, we'll have to wait until TokyoPop releases their versions because all the groups stopped translating once the novels were licensed. I really don't mind TokyoPop translating, it's just that at the rate they're currently going, it'll literally be years before they're up-to-date. They've been releasing for about a year now, and they've only got 3 volumes out.

Personally, I don't like thinking about FMP! because I'm always left with a bit of an empty feeling inside. We (English speakers) haven't had any new FMP! content (The TokyoPop novels don't count since they were already available online. And no, Lucky Star references do not count, either.) since the last installment of the Volume 8 translation was released by RavynPhoenix about 15 months ago. Honestly, it'll be faster to just learn Japanese and buy the novels from amazon.co.jp or someplace . . . You know, this actually makes me regret fooling around when I first started learning the language a few years ago, because I have no idea what's going on in class now. Yup. I regret not being able to read Japanese light novels, but I don't regret getting shitty grades. Shows just how mature I am, right?

Oh well on the bright side, they could do another FMP series that covers what's left...

They could, but I'd rather have them wait until the novels are finished. So far, every single novel (that hasn't been animated yet) has ended on a pretty major cliffhanger, so if they decided to make a new season now and then wait another few years to resolve the cliffhanger, I'd be even more devastated.

Of course, this is all pretty off-topic and doesn't belong here. Maybe I should make a thread called "ITT: Nappy b*tches about KyoAni" where we can all b*tch and moan about how Kyoto Animation needs to stop animating Key games and start pumping out FMP! and Haruhi.
