i know how super unrealistic this game is but

how do i go into corners without losing speed?? do i hold brake then tap accelerate twice or some shit? lol any pros wanna teach me. also is it possible to do these techniques without being full spec?

also is there really a difference between cars in this unrealistic game? i notice there is a tier list for the game but when i originally started i didnt know so i chose an sti (GDBA) cause i also drive an sti irl. then i saw the tier list and 2door trueno ae86 is the fastest, the fuck LOL? apparently they nerfed the sti when its like 13th on the tier list. what kind of logic is that.

Short answer:
Spend money.

You will not lose speed once you reach ex-spec, or full-spec in offline machine in this game.

All techniques are irrelevant until you ex-spec your car. No matter how good you are, you can't catch a ex-spec player who have basic techniques.

BC and BA are techniques to turn in this game. Read them up in the other threads.

For cars, they make a difference of course. But the difference is not like Forza or Gran Turismo "realistic difference".

For Time Attack, each course have a "best car", but any of the 3 AE86s can't go wrong.

For in-shop battle, AE86s are incredibly OP.

For Online battles, AE86s are noticeably a lot less OP, and the current "best car" changes with every balance update.

There can be a huge difference between cars though skill is more important.

You'll be losing speed until you reach Full Spec. In the meantime, there isn't a way to avoid it. It can be minimized by steering as little as possible.
