Short answer: Spend money. You will not lose speed once you reach ex-spec, or full-spec in offline machine in this game. All techniques are irrelevant until you ex-spec your car. No matter how good you are, you can't catch a ex-spec player who have basic techniques. BC and BA are techniques to turn in this game. Read them up in the other threads. For cars, they make a difference of course. But the difference is not like Forza or Gran Turismo "realistic difference". For Time Attack, each course have a "best car", but any of the 3 AE86s can't go wrong. For in-shop battle, AE86s are incredibly OP. For Online battles, AE86s are noticeably a lot less OP, and the current "best car" changes with every balance update. | ||

You'll be losing speed until you reach Full Spec. In the meantime, there isn't a way to avoid it. It can be minimized by steering as little as possible. |
