How the hell does one "accidentally" shoot themselves in the head?
Let's say his happy, spirited demeanor was all a facade. If that's the case, and he was doing facetime on his phone with someone, gun to his head, that would obviously be a cry for help. The person should step forward soon and give their side of the story: whoever he was talking to.
It's really difficult to tell when someone is depressed nowadays, as it's so easy to hide it.

If it weren't the case, and it's just another story of teenage idiocy/playing around with shit they have no business with, then...

I'm really vouching for the darwin factor here. 98% of Americans are fucking idiots when it comes to being a responsible gun owner.

ESPECIALLY in gun-friendly states like Florida. Peep George Zimmerman.

My country doesn't even allow guns. I guess at least in these states natural selection can take place to eliminate dumb people.

I will openly invite you to come with me to a rifle range and feel the cool steel of a war-beaten Mosin Nagant rifle, the increase of heartrate as you load those massive 7.62x54R shells into the magazine, the tension of pulling the slide back for the first time and lining up for your first shot ever.

Aaaaaaaaaaand you failed.

Explain, Mr. Gun Elitist.

Shells are for shotguns. Rounds are for rifles. Unless you're putting spent casings into a Mosin, which I don't recommend. Seriously, don't do it. Don't ask how I know.

The Mosin Nagant does not have a slide. It has a bolt. Thus why it is a 'bolt-action rifle'.

If I ever get a chance to visit the states that is. Of course. Russians make fine rifles.

But I'd still want to start with something smaller. Perhaps, a Glock.
My belief is that full sized rifles and shotguns are a little too much for home defense. But my personal opinion for a rifle would be an AR15. LOTS of options.

Okay. Moving forward my discussion to the guns thread. See you there.

It's obviously because any time you rack a shotgun, people'll run out of your house screaming bloody murder and turn themselves in. Easy mode, yo.

Think about it for a second. With text, you have no tone of voice, cadence or whatever. The only way to express inflection is through emotes wink2.gif

You see, Rudy, there are these fabulous works of art called 'novels'. In these, the only method with which to convey a scene is text. Text upon text upon text. It's brilliant the way the human mind is able to construct a three-dimensional world complete with sound simply by one's eyes flying across a page soaking up words.

And the weirdest part? There are no emoticons in them.

I weep for the day someone does.
