Shells are for shotguns. Rounds are for rifles. Unless you're putting spent casings into a Mosin, which I don't recommend. Seriously, don't do it. Don't ask how I know. The Mosin Nagant does not have a slide. It has a bolt. Thus why it is a 'bolt-action rifle'. | ||

Russians make fine rifles. But I'd still want to start with something smaller. Perhaps, a Glock. My belief is that full sized rifles and shotguns are a little too much for home defense. But my personal opinion for a rifle would be an AR15. LOTS of options. Okay. Moving forward my discussion to the guns thread. See you there.
