thanks kurei you always come through.

It almost did for me, last week my DFP's Brake pedal arm snapped in two, and I thought that was the end...

then I found the ducktape laugh.gif

(If you want more GT4 activity, GTP is still alive and well)

Posted by: midnightevo6 Jun 14 2009, 10:55 AM
what do you mean when you say no aids? do i have to turn off traction and oversteer + understeer.

Posted by: PandaApex Jun 14 2009, 11:28 AM
If I wanted to, I could say you cant have AIDs or HIVs, but yea I believe he means no driving aids. I might try this later on (As I find a way to make money with my lack of licenses xD)

Posted by: WRX Jun 14 2009, 11:48 AM
Hmmm.. I want to build an RSX just for this, since its almost identical to my car

identical to your s2000? lol i thought you lost your ps2,wrx.

and yes by no aids i mean no oversteer/ understeer assist or tcs.

GTP is all good and fun but its nothing compared to where it all started for me. IDFORUMS.NET FOREVER!!

Posted by: WRX Jun 14 2009, 03:11 PM
Nooo, my car irl lol. My friend have my PS2, i'll be picking it up today hehehehe.

Posted by: BlackSubaru Jun 14 2009, 04:01 PM
dakmor~ tried it with a stock 88 concept iroc. too much weight in the turns, and bit of understeer. those Scurves are deadly.

no better than 1'38.

i could prolly do better with some slight tuning and weight shaving. plus moar practice!

i wonder ... hmm.

... would you like me to add that time though?

agh! a few more runs and little more tweaking, i can probably break kurei's time!

I missed the power on the Alfa and it is 248hp.

nismo_drifter I have a question for you. I know we can not use the dirt, grass, and concrete area's. But can we put the inside or outside wheels on the rumble strips?
I have not used them so far.

as long as 1 wheel is on them, rumble strips are fine. btw concrete areas are fine also.

The S3 tires call out for. I like this challenge with the not wheels off of the black stuff.

Not really most of the GT challenges are 2 wheels of the same side on the track. Still fun but driving with all wheel on the course is more like one would in the real world is better in my view.

The Stig/2000 Lotus Elise/236HP/1'21.988

I still need to dial in the suspension just a smidge more. The car is rotating perfectly, a sub 1'21 is definitely close.

quick question, stig. are you letting the car slide or are you completely gripping?

BTW! NEW USERNAME!

Posted by: The Stig Jun 17 2009, 12:57 PM
I'm not completely gripping but I'm letting the rear end rotate and slide just a tiny bit.

New best time: The Stig/2000 Lotus Elise/236HP/1'21.166
^ was done just by adding more aero. Still need to fine tune suspension/LSD

Edit: This thing was like driving on ice after fine tuned but it churned out a blisteringly fast 1'20.631!! This thing is godly fast on the back half of the track where the aero is really put to work. I think a sub 1'20.3xx is definitely possible.

Edit numero Deuce...: New best at The Stig/2000 Lotus Elise/236HP/1'20.373!!

My new goal is a 1'18.9xx. =)

Edit: New best time, and beat my goal. w00t!

The Stig/2000 Lotus Elise/236HP/1'18.986!

Time for me to change from Turbine Stage 2 to Naturally Aspirated Stage 3! 236hp to 244 hopefully the powerband will be good enough.

Edit 2: Super smooth powerband, new best.

Woohoo stig my man post up a video! I wanna see your lines!!

Posted by: stidriver Jun 17 2009, 06:12 PM
I see the times are dropping fast. With the MR chassis as the hot set-up.
I change to a 111R also and put up the MAX replay(NTSC). The car's trail end still needs tuning to get some more grip.
