No offence, but is it really necessary to rip in 192khz?

For archival purposes, I find it to be. The MP3 version is standard.

It's still excessive because there is only noise starting at around 58-59khz which is not related with the actual music.

I'm no audiophile either, but I dunno what else to say. Not like I'm hurting for HDD space either.
