You don't have to be a student. The only issue is parking which is expensive for 8$ a day but there is a free parking lot downtown for 2 hours really close to campus. If you want to play initial d, it's really cheap and worth it. It cost only 3 tokens to play stage 5/6 but $1 would get you 5 tokens. Arcade stage 3 is only 1 token I think. The bowling is pretty active but the arcade is usually dead, maybe a family or two but most of the time it's empty because most students are probably studying so no lines lol.

Now the most important question of all. Does it have any cards for the initial D cabinets? I've been to some cabinets the owners say the cards go to fast and they dont want to buy them. Which doesn't make a lot of sense considering that is more money for them.

That's a good question, try calling the arcade and asking. I'm sure they will know. I was able to purchase a card when I played but that was a year ago. Also the game is all in Japanese so get ready to make some mistakes.

Depends on the profit margin. If its too small or nonexistent, they may not want to bother, especially with the risk that it may not sell out.

This is also guesswork, but D5 and D6 cards may be harder to track down. They may not necessarily understand the importance of the cards and how important they are when it comes to encouraging repeat plays; IDAS is especially designed for this.

I play there now but usually on Sundays. Parking is free on Sundays but the arcade seems to be mostly active toward the middle of the day during the week. The 5 cab does have cards because thats what I currently play. Cant say about 6 tho.
