Same here. but they probably will not do that. unless playing id on the ps3 becomes more popular. but thats just my theory.

Thats my point so the chances of there being a official racing wheel for ides is very low.

yeah true. when ver. 5 comes to home console, a bundle pack with a steering would be a good idea

I got my copie yesterday, i started playing ES today at 2:00pm and played for 9 hours straight.....DAMN it's awesome, my starter car was the MX5 Na( almost FT ) and i am currently trying to kick Takumi's ass^^( Project D)

I hope Sega will port AS5 too, ES is frikking awesome so far^^

Well to me Extreme Stage is pretty much to me like a half baked cake.
Why?

Seriously guys,look at the graphics in game,if you look carefully at Akina stage compared to the arcade version,you'll notice that the trees are much lesser and shorter compared in the arcade version.

Music wise, why can't they just stuff more eurobeat into the game? Seeing that they are using BD format now compared to Sega Linderbergh using only DVD format.....isn't that a little bit ironic and weird???? Only make sense that Sega isn't paying any attention in doing something.Most of the Sonic games also end up in fire because of their nonchalant attitude.

About what OP said, the DLC pack and other new avatars to me is just a gimmick to lure us to buy this Japanese version of ID:ES.

Seriously, I think you guys might notice that ES might end up as well like AS4 after they released the 1.5 patch. Sega just couldn't give a damn about it after that.

Let's hope that SEGA will release a patch of a expansion pack that allows us ES owners to upgrade our version into AS5 since the basis of AS5 revolves around ES anyway.
This way is to compensate us Japanese version owners are not losing out.

Well you have your points, but this is the first Initial D game i ever played and it's a blast^^ ( i just left Bunta in the dust )
Of course there are a LOT of things wich could have been easily improved...well in my oppinion Genki's games allways have been the better ones...the only thing really missing is the Initial D license and all the super eurobeat! (Tokyo xtrem racer: Drift2 = Touge and Tokyo extem racer 3 = Wangan and the like)

Well i gonna try the online play out for a bit, until now i couldn't find any opponents

@Omochao: u high? or ur comparing ES with AS5? cuz they have different graphics

Hey guys its DarK_Mini here i lost my password and cant retrieve it anyone i still play maybe an hour a day but if i knew people on here that play often then maybe longer^^.

Usually I play later at night (around 10 pm MST) for a little while. If that time works for others let me know, if not, let me know what does and I can see what I can do.

Hmm a few Days ago (finnally) my copy of Tokyo Xtrem Racer: Drift 2 arrived and today my copy of Tokyo Xtrem Racer 3....i think i won't play IDES for a quite a bit from now on.......really thoose two games have to be the most underated games ever!
I have to say they are definately some of the best racing games i have played so far.....and i have played a lot of racing games ( i pirated the two a long time ago, i just didn't want to import something without trying it first^^)

....IDES just gets pretty boring rather fast.....well i finished the game two times and just don't have that much need to play through it a third time....well to be fair the first playthrough was f**king great ^^
