Well, how about we make our own timetable and keep it updated amongst ourselves?

It'd help out a lot in regards to scheduling shows, too.

Sure, as long as you have Stereo Mix. I think a few members have done that, actually.

While you can do broadcasting without stereo mix or a mic playback device by using Shoutcast's Winamp integration... it means you can do any live voice stuff, which kinda sucks.

Well, I would use no mic for a temp period just because I've gotta keep it on the DL for a while; when I go to U, then I'll mic it up. grin2.gif I just wanna get the feel for it, that's all.

EDIT: Just to give a preview of what I'd be playing, could I PM one of the DJs an album of one of the artists that'll be played on my show whence I'm up & running?

Sounds cool. If you want me to play it lemme know, I can queue it up for this coming Friday. wink2.gif Or I'm sure DJ Hashiriya would probably play it as well, earlier.

I think it's time to clean up the list of /idw/ DJs, yes?

I'd like to DJ, eventually. Work is too hectic right now though. sad.gif

I actually second this. The schedule on the front is drastically different from what is the actual schedule.

Okay, I have a mic so I'm planning on becoming a DJ now and would like to hear from a Mod/Admin on whether or not they can help me with this.
I'm really eager to get started, but if the answer's no then I suppose that's okay...

All DJs, I am requesting that you all let me know your timeslots so I can give the OP a refresh. You can PM me or just post your time(s) in this thread, and I'll get cracking on editing the OP to reflect.

Thanks!

Edited. I really doubt we only have two active DJs, though. I know Fragger has a show but he's not listed here. Neither is Kyonpalm.

To be fair, I believe both of them became active well after this thread became decrepit.

Kyonpalm I'm not sure, but Pikachu_Fragger's show has always been Thursdays 11 PM PST to 1 AM PST, exactly a day behind mine.

EDIT: Central is GMT -6, Eastern is GMT -5. I only know because my family's always been half on the east coast and they're three hours ahead of me. laugh2.gif

My show's timeslot has been Saturday from 02:00 EST until whenever I get finished, usually by 05:00. I haven't really been doing shows lately, though, so you don't need to worry about interfering with my show for the time being.

The grapevine is closed due to snow/sever weather, so I am staying here at least till midnight so I can listen to the whole hour you're on!

I'll be uploading vids of me training to drive manual in my brother's Dodge truck as well.
