North America's ONLY record has just been struck down by the man himself, CKF. Shall we see retaliation? We'll have to wait and see. *Note: I just this second got the information straight from text message so the IR is obviously not posted yet but when it is, it will be here: http://ranking.segarosso.com/inidas3/n2_rankview.php?view=0&crs1=20&crs2=1&num_0=0 |

Posted by: matt Sep 3 2006, 09:01 AM |
damn! Bart's time was beaten!!! man that suks! hey at least he had WR, I'm sure he can get it bak!! |
Posted by: xkhol Sep 3 2006, 09:20 AM
But he probably won't. I think he's done with ID o_O btw, Bart's asian too XD |
Posted by: Harley Sep 3 2006, 09:55 AM |
Danm CKF he owns us all just showing that not to underestimate his powers lolz |
Posted by: Sickness Sep 3 2006, 11:49 AM |
Bart is like...semi retired from ID mainly because hes whoring himself to playing 3rd strike alot more. But I see him play once in a while. Plus that record is older than dirt maybe he'll come out and try to beat it once again. |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 3 2006, 03:23 PM |
So whats the time now? |
Posted by: Möbius Sep 3 2006, 04:11 PM
3rd Strike? Sounds interesting... |
Posted by: Excel Sep 3 2006, 05:04 PM |
Supposedly CKF beat him by a meager .1 with a 19.5 Don't forget, his time is well over a year old. Plus, he has a 19'1 theory. In addition to this, someone told me earlier this week he played Akina Snow, and he got a 19.7 with the GDB(beating the newly posted Japanese record). Bart won't go down without a fight. |
Posted by: Möbius Sep 3 2006, 06:03 PM |
The new time is still not up... |
Posted by: Name? Sep 4 2006, 01:26 AM
yah he got a 19.7 in GDB. his theory in gdb is 19.4. most likely will take it back in GDB. |
Posted by: EA99 Sep 4 2006, 02:00 AM
I mean the countries but meh |
Posted by: Odie Sep 6 2006, 08:26 AM |
The time is finally posted. Had to wait as the first time wasn't fast enough with only a 3'19"56x then played 3'19"48x the next day and shaved it down a bit more ther day after with 3'19"458 and now 3'19"3. Plenty of room for a much lower time but it's hard to keep. Seeing red like 8/10 times Theory 3'18 and maybe actually doable unlike Akagi DH. The time will come down further but the 19"3 is good enough to post for now XD |
Posted by: Cranky Sep 6 2006, 08:44 AM |
now given that bart's theory for GDB is 3'19'4 it ain't gonna be enough - he'll have to use the celica. go bart! |

So CKF did this. Wow he does Damage...OUchies... |
Posted by: Jason_H. Sep 6 2006, 10:46 AM |
Wow...took you a year to beat the record...hooray you. |
Posted by: Arcy Sep 6 2006, 01:32 PM
hahaha he was probably beating other records. I heard from someone (can't say) that the HK'ers and japanese don't play snow as much as other levels. They find it boring cause it's not fast paced as the other levels. I guess CKF decided to take the snow record back to HK cause he felt like it. |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 6 2006, 02:07 PM |
I am sure he didnt wake up one day and say, Oh I am taking snow and did it in 24 hours, I am sure he practiced a few days for it to be taken. |
Posted by: razorsuKe Sep 6 2006, 02:35 PM
incorrect, not only record holders but personal record achievers do this on the daily. |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 6 2006, 02:38 PM |
Is corrected. Now thats scary to think that they can do that, that easily. Wow. Simply wow. So, I am curious on his thought process doing this. Wake up say I'm going to take it and do it? I am still stunned at that. |
Posted by: Arcy Sep 6 2006, 04:40 PM
well... like some people, no matter how hard they practice (sad but true) they won't be as good as you know for example CKF. It's not really scary that they can do that, It's just because they have "it". I don't think I'll ever be as good as him, or many people that use the initial d forums, that's why I set my own goals. =p |
Posted by: Odie Sep 6 2006, 10:23 PM |
No it wasn't set in 24 hours... First testing day got 3'20"0 and then slowly reduced the time. From start to finish he took about a week. I'd say around 150-200 credits |
Posted by: razorsuKe Sep 6 2006, 11:11 PM
are you sure that estimate is correct? thats a shit load of games man. |
Posted by: DALAZ_68 Sep 6 2006, 11:12 PM |
PUTA INA Mo |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 6 2006, 11:17 PM |
The games must be cheap in order to play that much. Either that or CKF has a high paying job. O.o |
Posted by: Odie Sep 7 2006, 01:05 AM |
For someone who has not played in the snow it's about right. Tsuchisaka 2'36"8.. that took well over a week of solid work. That course is a total waste of money. FQ CP2 almost every time.. as bad as Hakone OB |
Posted by: DALAZ_68 Sep 7 2006, 12:09 PM |
funny... yesterday i started working on my snow up and downhill lol |
Posted by: xkhol Sep 7 2006, 01:21 PM
http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi $2 HKD to USD = ~$.25 |
Posted by: DALAZ_68 Sep 7 2006, 02:00 PM
the closest i can come to that is Westwood .50 to start .25 to continue then again theres the gass to get to Westwood and parking fee i doubt they have that much to worry about |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 7 2006, 03:24 PM |
So they pay 25 cents per game? |
Posted by: Möbius Sep 7 2006, 06:40 PM |
I remember reading that they "rent" the machines in the morning ( when it's not busy ). |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 7 2006, 06:46 PM |
How do you "rent" a machine in the morning? You reserve it for a party every morning? Seriously though. Like Wow. That's wild. |
Posted by: krulGHOST Sep 7 2006, 06:55 PM
I would love to rent the machine for a couple of hours.....no one can bother you..because you paid for your time.... |
Posted by: Odie Sep 7 2006, 09:24 PM |
It costs US$0.13 per game here in some parts of Hong Kong (HK$1) Renting machines... I think it costs HK$15 per hour and it's only at selected arcades. From what i heard, only one arcade does that now (Arcade 838) but P'z O has never done that before. We put money in to play ;; I heard that in China, there is a place that costs even less RMB 0.4 per credit Thats like US$0.05 a game!!!!!!!! THATS 20 CREDITS FOR ONE US DOLAREZ!!!! >.< I WANNA GO TO SHANGHAI!!! |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 7 2006, 09:43 PM |
Forget that, Imma bok my flight now to go there...hopefully its not too expensive. -Checks prices- Never mind ill dream about going there and playing for 5 cents. |
Posted by: matt Sep 7 2006, 10:25 PM
o yeh westwood is the way to go!! |
Posted by: razorsuKe Sep 14 2006, 08:28 AM |
Record is now off IR. |
Posted by: J2.0 Sep 14 2006, 01:39 PM |
What? Why??? |
Posted by: matt Sep 14 2006, 04:58 PM |
same question! |
Posted by: Smikey Sep 14 2006, 10:39 PM |
Why? What happened? Did CKF get a new record that obliterates it? Bart I think knows what it was before. But could this mean he has taken it off only to have a new "hidden" time that he beat his own? |
Posted by: J2.0 Sep 15 2006, 11:09 AM |
maybe CKF has sympathy for the U.S. |
