 It was the first Choose Your Own Adventure book I ever read, and introduced me to the novel concept which I fell in love with. It helped greatly that it was a time travel story and by this point I was enthralled by the Back to the Future films. If I could only pick a single book out of every book I've ever read...I'd go ahead and say 'most influential/most re-read' and choose The Time Raider. So now that that's out of the way, what's the fastest you've ever personally driven over the speed limit in a car? Being a passenger doesn't count. |

You have a car, and one of the engine accessories - say, the alternator - is whining so bad you know the bearing's gonna take a dump and leave you stranded with no serpentine belt. The accessory absolutely has to be replaced bit your inspection reveals some other pulleys and another accessory - say the water pump - isn't looking too swell either. You can drive your friend's car in the meantime, but do you just replace the accessory that's on the verge of failure now, or wait a paycheck or two and knock out the whole "front end" of the engine? Shouldn't have to explain that one or why it's great, but I will mention that if you have seen the movie, you will deeply appreciate the downright obsessive attention to detail that's featured in the book. Bateman is equal parts autistic/socially anxious and psychopathic/sociopathic rather than just psycho/socio alone - and both traits are amplified a hundred times. It encapsulates the time it's set in beautifully as well - every chapter you'll find people mistaking other people for other other people. All that coke gets to you. Also lots more killing whores/hobos/gays/gays'-dogs/Chinese-delivery-boys-mistaken-for-Japs and lots of hilarious Bateman-Carruthers homo interactions. Where was your last vacation? |

| My favorite soda is Surge, and you can only buy it on Amazon at the moment (unless you live in the American southeast, in which case you can apparently find it in stores). If you're gonna try some, make sure that you're actually buying it from Amazon.com ($14/12 16oz cans) and not some random third-party vendor (anything over $14/12 16oz cans). Lots of resellers are trying to gouge people by buying up Amazon's stock then reselling for stupid prices. Don't fall for it. Don't enable their business model. If it's energy drinks you want, my poison of choice is Amp. I'll do a Full Throttle if Amp isn't available, but I'm not a Monster sort of person. For some reason Monster doesn't actually keep me awake and alert, it merely prevents me from falling asleep (incredibly annoying). I guess it depends on how the ingredients react with you personally. If you're truly an energy drink virgin I believe it's time you got out there and tried a few. Just remember that until you know what's going to happen, only try one a day. That way you know what you're in for (not to mention you will know which work and which don't for you). Keep in mind that most cans will say that 1 can = 2 servings but we all know that's bullshit.  Man, I'm running out of questions. Uh... uh... Most money spent on shipping cost alone for a single order of something over the internet? |

| The first concert I ever attended... I believe that would be the Barenaked Ladies, though it was so long ago that I don't remember where in NY it was or even the date. It was before their album featuring 'Aluminum' and 'Shopping' came out, I remember that much (because I attended a concert for that album when I was in high school). I remember it was an outdoor concert and it was awesome, but my memory's pretty fuzzy from back then. So fuzzy in fact that while I'm pretty sure that was my first big concert, I'm sure I must be forgetting some. To be honest I'd probably have to ask my mother, she'd remember better which I went to first. Are you into space sims? If so, what space game first got you hooked? If not...well, that's too bad. |

| Yes. It was Wing Commander 2 when I played it on my cousins PC way back in the day. Fun times taking an F-57 Sabre and going full guns on a Sartha light, and watch it explode like a petrol bomb. What's your favorite coffee or tea, or whatever caffeinated drink you have in the morning, if any at all? |

It was JHS and it was lame. I got hit in the nose by a girl. She hit me with the palm of her hand extending outward like a punch. Didn't bleed but fuck that chick. Why is it that housing prices are so unstable at the moment? I just got a notice that if I re-sign my lease my rent goes up to $1175. From $995. |

It's a lingering effect of the housing bubble. There are lots of tenants out there, meaning there will be little if no incentive for landlords to compete in pricing. How many times a day do you brush your teeth? |

| I like cooking pasta. As a recent college grad I knew the struggle of trying to find food and cooking. Pasta is super easy because it consists of sauce, things that you put in the sauce, and pasta. | Well, as of right now I've only seen 1. And that was Demi Lovato (and Nick Jonas but who cares) like a month ago. But I have a whole bunch coming up. "Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy" On September 2nd. Yuki Kajiura on January 14, 2017. And a Kingdom Hearts orchestra concert June 24, 2017. Anyway, on to the next question.
