Got my Bit Char-G in the mail today straight from Hong Kong!
Well, I don't have the upgraded kit, so maybe they have more potential, but this thing is boring and slow. Maybe it's Takumi's 4AG engine...hehehe.
Oh well, just a waste of $35, no big deal.

I was excited.

You have a stock 1.0 engine. happy.gif That's why it's slow. You can upgrade to 1.6, 2.2, 2.6 and 3.0 engines. They also have 3.8 engines which are not made by Tomy though. Bit Char G is pretty fun, if you have someone to race with. I'm so envious with your hardwood floor goldfinger....

Yeah, ordered the 3.0 engine yesterday, along w/ the drift kit, should get here on Monday.

And thanks, I like my hardwood floors also!

Got my 3.0 engine in the mail today, along with the drift kit and tire kit!

All I can say is "Wow!" ohmy.gif

This thing seriously has too much power for it's little size.

I tried the drifting tires, these ones:

But they clearly have NO traction, the car just does crazy fast donuts!!!

I am currently trying all the tires to see which ones I like.

Thought you guys might like to know.

i like your table, lol, yeah the bit char-g's are amazingly quick for their scale once youve upgraded them. im getting a microsizer for x-mas wich is pretty similar to the char-g's. i looked into wich one my mom got and its a 37mHz skyline. im going to upgrade the engine to the drag engine and the drift tires. so that way ill have speed for drifts and drags, and tires for drifts and burn outs with out the burning wink2.gif. ive seen fully upgraded microsizers and it could keep up with me running ohmy.gif. my friend was chasing me with it and while i was sitting on the ground playing with 1:28th scale civics (yes i still find toys fun) and there was a table behing me and he ran it off the table and into the back of my head, if i didnt love that r/c he had i would have stomped on it till he started crying....but those things are $30!

to Jayson - Well, looks like I'm not the only one here wink2.gif

Man, your drifting tires are cool. I guess it's time for you to set up some Bit CharG races... Bet you could build an awesome race track on your floors....

Hahaha, it would be just like Christmas when I was younger, parent's getting mad 'cause they can't walk around the house because of my racecar tracks...

...brings back memories.

Hehe... This is a little off topic but I used to be a Mishima player myself but I mostly play Hwoarang, Ling these days. I still think the Ogres own the Mishima though. Ling is so much fun, even though I'm nowhere near the level of Xiaolove or sm1 like that you know what I'm saying?

I think it's the 2.2 or 2.6 motor, pretty fast, and fun...

I think after spending almost $100 on these little things, I am done.

Haha, I haven't tried it with my cat yet, but my scottish terrior loves 'em.

That dog is a natural drifter... he runs, locks up his back legs, and slides across the floors.
