Hello all,

Right now I've been doing a Dave Rodgers marathon on my playlist and notice the song "Take Me Higher" keeps getting better the more I play it.

I didn't really like this that much when I first heard it and kept wanting to go back to listen to Sun City, but now this song is one of my favorites from him.

Idk if it's the lyrics or what, but I like it much better now smile.gif.

Anyone else?

The first song that popped into my head is "Express Love" by Mega NRG Man.

Besides that, I would say "What Kind Of Cure" by Lou Grant.

I know Lebon will always hate "Frontal Impact" though...haha.

I didn't much care for the song "Sticky Tricky Bang" due to the childish nature, at first, but it really did grow on me due to the catchiness of the vocals and melody. I'll get a lot of flack for liking the song though.

I love Frontal Impact smile.gif.

Like whatever you want, and let them hate all they want!

I'll have to check out the second song Laboon mentioned, but I think I've heard it before. Haven't heard "Sticky Tricky Bang" though, will check that out too tongue.gif.

Funny thing is "Take Me Higher" is what's on right now tongue.gif.

For me, most Eurobeat song need to do that. But then I love them.
Only a few hit totally at first hearing - those are the really great ones.

The most extreme example for me is Wild Boys - Rich Hard...I still can only barely stand his voice but that song used to be on my "megasuck" list, now I jam to it occasionally.
Going from dislike to like is very rare, usually I love a song right from the start, or I start out neutral and they grow on me. The old Delta songs with the trebletastic mixing are like this. (e.g: Hyper Star Energy, Da Burning Tokyo) The treble is crazy but the musical content wins me over in the end, so I just listen with lots of EQ tongue.gif.
