Yep, that's correct. You just have not yet your perfect match from Heaven, laznlspeeddemon. I've met mine with BMW, Nissan, FPV, and Holden, and had quite well with them. You'll find that match in heaven one day as well.

keeping the challenge limited like this helps avoiding total mayhem. it's easier to monitor small, simply defined chalölenge than such challenge that allows many kinds of cars. remember how Alpine dominated the deep forest challenge few months ago?

But if I'm not mistaking, the later models have more torque which helps, hp just gives you top speed, torque gives you acceleration.

At least in real life, that's why the 9k rpm redline was changed I think after 2001 or 2002. Not sure about the game though.

well im running a stage 3 turbo and i was able to deal with the lag by shortening the gear ratios so if.your car is turbo u can try tht for a faster time and if its n/a shortening the gear ratio will give u even better response.just an idea wink2.gif

You better watch out though... Shortening the gears too much may actually seize giving you any boost at all since the engine doesn't get a sufficient load anymore...
Then you are practically running a NA with low compression wink2.gif

I'm still second? wowzah. I have to think a new beast in order to defeat STI-fellow.. I tried Sileighty, but it just didn't cut in. it turns well, accelerates well ,but couldn't match S15. now I really need to start thinking outside the box and be creative.

I had 404bhp at the start of my runs, but it went down to 401 after 10 or so laps. should've changed my oil before. boo
