So far i only spotted 2 machine in Time Square, I live nearby there so i can check most of the time, but this week bit difficult because I'm staying in my gf house  and midvalley hasnt got it yet, i checked last saturday.  |

was out wit In n Sato last nite over at mines played a few rounds for tuning ... tok wit the tau ke's son (tony) confirmed me on his orders for the cards was delayed coz of Jap side ... told me shd b arriving this week n if the customs dont giv them any probs then it will arrive ...  finally Sato hav left for Jap this morning, would like to tk this opportunity here to wish him all the best in his studies n career in the future even tho he is not here wit us IDing but he will still be wit us @D4 ...  m very proud to hav him in the team we have plenty of good time in KL n oso Penang on our last trip ... one hell of a funny guy and a serious and Pro ID player ... broke his TA in tsukuba last nite to 3.03.8xx ... well done n i believe when he is bk to Jap he can reach the world rec soon ...  |

| Came at about 5pm if I remember correctly...I was trying Happo IB when the guy came over with a big stack of em. Some guy did a 3'06 IB on the machine, I wonder who it was...cp3 and cp4 freaking fast. I'm only a 3"11"0 or something and my cp1 and 2 is heaps faster than him. |

| Lolol...yea.....32 tokens to get a card.......RM2 per game(4 tokens).....so basically RM16 per card...dam expensive. Btw...I tested out the game at TS today....seriously HARD to play now....the drifting mechanics is really different...I just dont get it.....btw...I think the tuning shop we can access whenever u guys insert the card at the start screen....there will be a option for u to choose but u can only buy once.... |

| ??? Damn easy la. Just watch a couple of vids and emulate from there. Just now I saw Matt play Akina and get like a 3'21 Akina on his 2nd try with a stock supra. This game is seriously damn easy to pick up, provided ur willing to adapt and not stubbornly make the same mistakes over and over and over. |

| Summit's arcade is a branch of the ones in 1U/Mines/TS so I'm not surprised they have it. If u want to learn the game ur better off watching vids and trying out a few times yourself, the game is seriously easy to pick up. Personally I keep getting asked the same questions over and over and I'm sick of giving similar answers so I've started to just say "I'm not sure myself" and proceed to just play and ignore further questions. One guy pissed me off when he asked me a whole bunch of stuff, then proceeded to hog the machine for hours to try out the stuff I told him so I went off to play KOF. When I came back, he was still playing. After I finally started playing a few rounds, he had the gall to ask me to let him have a turn (again), presumably to try out the stuff I was doing. I just stared at him until he got the point =_=. What kind of stare? You know the red striped prisoner from Usavich? That kind of stare. |

| I haven't play AS5 yet.. so need some info from y`all do we have to ejects the card every play where 3x play for tuning like in AS4? can we import data from AS4 card such as avatar, name or any of the car you had previously? if so, will the record winning attained or wiped out to anew? can someone tabulate how much it gonna cost to FT 1 car Thanks.. |

it counts 3 plays then eject. (1 start 2 continues, 3 starts, 1 start 1 continue 1 start.. any combi will do as long as 3 plays. free games from battle wins or the initial free Bunta race do not count) No to conversion of any AS4 card to AS5. same number of games to FT a car as ID4. |

1. Start card + 1st game ---> take out 2. Every 3 consecutive plays --> take out repeat #2 it should be 205games to FT a car from a brand new card. that counts as 3play =) |

| It costs about RM440 to ft a car, including card cost. Don't be too disheartened though, there really isn't much difference between a stock and FT car (maybe about 5secs difference in an optimum TA run), you'll notice you can reach corners around the same speeds as a FT car. Means you can pretty much battle quite evenly especially if boost is on since battle is entirely different from TA now with regards to entry/exit speeds and to some extent lining. |

You may wanna get used to braking and speed control so you can join us on our quest to master boost <3 <3 <3 |

| Heres what I understand 1) Taking CP1 slower than usual won't activate the boost in CP2, you can 'store' it for CP3 (which is usually where you would want it to be). Taking CP1 too slowly though will cause the boost to activate in CP2. eg. In akina, normal corner speeds about 78 on exit, slower than usual about 73, too slow about 69. 2) Taking corners normally seems to let you have a 'mini boost' in cp3 if your cp1 was slower than usual, but not too slow. CP4 will not gain a boost either. Taking corners very slowly in cp2 (and slow in cp1) seems to let you 'store' a boost for cp3 and cp4. 3) In order to achieve maximum boost for CP4, you need to take CP3 slow. Note that if CP1 and CP2 were done correctly, CP3 will have a huge boost as well. 4) If everything is done correctly up to now, CP4 will get a huge boost. If you messed up in one of the earlier CPs (especially if CP2 got the boost) but still took the remaining CPs somewhat slowly, CP4 will get a mini boost. You lose the boost if you plough into something. What I'm not sure of is whether the boost activates on short straights, what other factors make it 'disappear' other than crashing into stuff, and whether you lose it through walltaps or heavy braking. I know it still is active through corners, especially high speed ones. To summarise : Do CP1 slower, do CP2 very slow, do CP3 slow, go all out on CP4. |

| Its not just corners, sometimes those little curves which you can normally do full gas you have to let go, like the little right-left after the cp2 S turn. Doing CP1 slow should already give you the boost in cp2, it all comes down to where you want to use it actually, though if I were you I'd try to get at least a high '10 with 86 without the boost first, since lining is very important. I'll probably drop by MV sometime after lunch for a while heh... |

MV Machines not yet calibrated, before I left I informed the indian technician of the problem, didn't wanna wait since he didn't seem sure how to reset it and there were kids playing. Left side machine wheel is off-alignment, so use the right one. |

| The last time I went to Summit was during v4 and I ended up playing KOF instead the whole night lol.... and its kinda out of the way so I doubt I'll ever go there, especially when Sunway has *8* new machines (including my favorite 2 newly-devirgined cabs), quoting SHINI from NY3OC, "YES!~!!11! YOU CAN FEEEEL THE DIFFERENCE". lulz. But if I were to look at your timing and make an educated guess, you are either : a) Accelerating before the car has fully cleared the corner, remember you must not feel ANY 'oversteer effect' when accelerating. If the car is wobbly, you accelerated too early. Or Taking turns too fast and getting hit with accel penaltyOr c) Bad lining Or d) All of the above. But if ur improving then you must be on the right track =) Theres a guy who plays at SP doing '06 tsukuba with a half-tuned? s2k...cookie cutter run based on the vid he watched I guess but since you <3 tsukuba you could watch him play. |

| I guess play quite long lor, if I'm by myself I play about 10-15games worth but if I'm with IN and cypher.....few hours long =.=; When ID5 first came out I played almost every day for the first week and a half. Now once/twice a week is enough for me. Its not always about the amount of $$$ spent though, imo its how effectively you utilise your games. |

| Sg wang 2nd floor also have 2 machines. But I've been there for the past few weeks and still they have NOT configured the pedals correctly. Previously, when they had 1 V5 cab, I helped to write down on a piece of paper telling them to re calibrate the brake and accel pedals cause it is different from V4. Told them that players will know after just a single game whether the pedals are working or not. After that they will just leave and no one will come back to play there. Sigh...After they had upgraded the 2nd cab to v5, still the pedals were not re calibrated. Told them a 2nd time.But that arcade also sometimes try to cheat u, if you change RM10.. maybe they juz give you RM9. So count your tokens before leaving the counter at that arcade, I caught them a few times already and they take back my token recount and then only include the missing token. |

@sd > in Klang Valley the best place to go Iding is to Sunway Pyramid same floor with the cinema they have 8 macs ... Mid Valley next to the bowling centre 2 Macs but both the steerings r out ... 1 Utama also at the bowling centre they have 2 macs but i dunno bout the conditions of the macs ... n there's 2 macs in Summit USJ n is been a long time i have not been ter dunno bout the conditions ... in downtown KL u can find Time Square 2 macs but only 1 of it is in good condition, Sungai Wang as u can c both the 2 macs r not calibrated yet ... Mines have 2 macs n both of it r in good conditions n u can forget bout Leisure Mall as i believe is not upgraded yet to v5 ... u can forget bout Genting Highlands coz they r still v4 1.5 n is pretty expensive to play there ... only best conclusion is Sunway Pyramid coz out of 8 macs all r in good conditions n u dont have to Q up to play ... good luck as u know bout melaka oni Penang have v5 n u can find it in Queensbay Mall n Gurney Plaza both have 2 macs n sometimes u mite find a long Q ... p/s: if u love pop corn smell Sunway arcade have the best aromas coz is coming from the cinema pop corn mac ... |

TimeSquare machines so far okay, at least they fix it right away when there's problem, machine ver5 beside battle gear, has a bit of gear prob, has to shift up quite strong, if not it wont shift up properly~ |

That's because Wangsa Walk's 2.0 went to BTS..and in turn, BTS's EXP went to Wangsa Walk. This, and Cheras Leisure Mall are the only 2 places with EXP 2.0. Think before you convert: Once you do, that card is unusable in the old EXP ver (which is more widespread in KL at the moment). |

Asked the boss....he's discussing with Sega for the cost of the software (not free to upgrade apparently). @stabz: Yes, EXP can be used for 2.0. However, 2.0 cards cant be used for EXP ver. It's a one way transfer. |

| So far it has brought more people to play back ID5 most definitely, but many people are unaware about the new features, simply because there's only 2 locations with it. When Wangsa Walk had it at the start of February, no one actually knew about it. Until it came to Times Square (switched machines with Wangsa Walk). |

Time Square is in down town KL ... depending on where u stay if convenient u can tk a cab if u wanna drive there is juz next to the Pudu prison opposite of Imbi plaza (Sg. Wang shopping area) ... ofc u can google the map |

Ah .. sorry man. couldn't remember your no., my hp went out of battery. No worries, he didn't bore any of us with his theories. In fact, I got owned by him instead. Anyway, I dropped by on Sunday for a short while, only to see my tsukuba wet being taken away by IN. .. 3'09 with the MR-S, I think. Was it done with the drift thingy? @Ishida - nope, we're not good. Average would be a better term to describe us, seeing that most of our timings fall short to you guys. PS: Anyway, one of my friends saw 2 videos with regards to our battles there. I don't mind it being posted on youtube, but the title of the video is kinda offending. Singapore Vs Malaysia? I know there's some rivalry involved, but let's not put the name of the countries involved, ya? |

| Only available in MidValley MegaMall and IOI Mall (little known place, you don't wanna go there anyway coz of lousy machines). Elsewhere it's not out yet. |
