Sorry about bringing up this topic again but i couldnt find it so i decided to start another one....

I rmb there being alot of talk about apexing turns and stuff.....yah, thas not what hes talking about there....in fact, its a whole different context in which ryosuke is using it.....

1st point i believe is straights
2nd point i believe is corners
3rd point i believe is either doing both at the same time, or having that sense of driving, knowing what to do, therefore, improvising when mistakes are made and capitalizing when your opponent screws up.....

if im wrong, plz correct me

you kno after reading that
i came to a conclusion that
perfect driving line=perfect corners, perfect straight aways
besides ryouske is all about theories and stuff, i think imo that lowering ur cars hp in a down hill race is a good thing to do, cuz more horses you got the harder itll be to turn, and the less u haf, tha slower u'll gain speed, or accel
thats why he detuned it to a certain level, 295hp i believe

correct me if i'm wrong
cuz i've always wondered about that biggrin.gif

In the race between Takumi and Ryousuke, Ryousuke detuned his FC to around 260 horsepower.

HUH? LOL.... why don't you explain that one. I can see what you're saying with that statement.... but if you know anything about Turbo's... you know that you don't necesarily need to reduce BHP all the time in order to get quicker results.

Do you know the amount of money needed to spend to make a NA car go head to head on par with a car with an aftermarket FI system? And sorry man... but saying SC's aren't an option because you don't like FI... doesn't hold up your "argument" very well.

I believe I have said this before:

FI = Turbo lag

NA = Never ending lag

Just get a smaller turbo. The lag depends on tons of stuff. You can also set up an anti-lag system but then your car will be very loud and very not street legal.

HAHA ryosuke that doesnt make sense to me either. Alot of people dont understand turbos.

Turbos are controlled by the exhaust gas. Controlling boost means opening the wastegate once a certain amount of pressure is present in the intake. Turning boost down turns down horsepower but does not reduce turbo lag.
