Well the only thing i dont like about version 3 is cuz itz slower and it makes dat gay sound when yu shift lol.

umm.... not all cars do that. my cousin's r34 and my friend's 8v don't. they want it to, but they dont

really? i thought all turbo cars were supposed to get the bov. you sure they have enough points? my gc8v got the bov after the first or second step of my BT.

and i liked ver. 2 'cuz it felt like i knew what i was doing. i was finally getting better at it and finally got my aura and they suddenly changed to ver. 3. i haven't even seen my aura in ver. 2 yet! although ver. 3 is more fair.

hmm... iono. i had headphone's on, so that might be the problem . however, i could still hear my bov just fine on my fc...

EDIT: i liked ver3 better because the new menu looks hella nice. the car selection screen also looks better. other than that, i think that ver 2&3 are pretty much the same, regardless of the new cars and courses

Well, I've only played Ver. 3 so I have to say that I like that one better. If I can find a ver.2 around my area I might change my opinion though. But, for now it's Ver.3

to be honest i only played version 3 like only 5 times.So i dont know much bout it.

Version 3 is much better. A car won't dominate the whole game, a player with the right skill will whereas in version 2, a crappy ass player can do quite well with a DC2.

It also has more physics behind it i.e. feinting in Version 3 is VERY useful whereas in Version 2 EVERYONE, and I meant EVERYONE had a dumb DC2 and it was like god everywhere in the game. Battles, TAs, everything.

I have only played like 10-20 times myself. But, I like it so far. I wish I could go to my arcade more and more. That way I can practice more. At one point I'm planning on just wasting $20 on Initial D Vers. 3 so that I can play more than an hour or so.

Well, I use a R32 in Version 3. I'm unsure what everyone else uses.

Ver.2 Why? Becuz its the only version that got me SUPER pumped and addicted. Yea, the other versions were good, but ver.2 was REALLY good. And also the fact that the EVOIII wasnt much popular back then. (I like to be unique)

rx8 and evo IV r the most used cars IMO
and version3 is better evens out the cars more, bump mechanics r better, no more dc2(even though dc2 jr. is still around), more courses, more cars, u go slower which is more realistic, u go slower so u get to play longer, the songs is a toss up, and the layout of when buying a car and choosing lots ta or bunta looks cooler...

I like v.3 better cause it's got more balanced cars...even tho the rx8 is the dc2 jr. I still like the fact that every car has it's strengths and weaknesses...

so far the only thing i liked about v3 is snow...

Version 3 is alot better.

+3 great new courses to play on.
+EVO V.
+More realistic turning speeds(even though they are still grossly exaggerated).
+DC2 has been nerfed. Thank God!

-The RX-8 has basically taken its place.
-Boost is still on by default which is something I don't like in ID. It would be better if boost was when both players pushed the brake pedal. I don't like boost because even ppl who would get smoked by you without boost stand a great chance of winning. I know IDAS is just a game but when you f up(take a turn slower) in real life you don't have boost to get extra chances at passing.

ya i kno wtf is wit dat boost should automaticly be off...then u can turn it on

Theres no boost on our ver.3 at our arcade here..maybe you guys just dont have the choose boost on/off option set or something if there is one..but we dont have boost unless he dont hold brake..

Well i've noticed that in my Arcade V.3 is way louder. Going to pick your car or course... the sound is soo f*ckin loud. Like the first time i tried i almost fell out of my seat. However like phome said no DC2's. But yet V.2 Soundtrack is better than V.3, But V.3 has a few good songs.

I noticed for you shift you can hear that noise, but in V.2 you cant. It gets annoying when you start hearing that noise over and over agian. I havent seen any RX-8's in my arcade yet.. am i lucky??

Yes, yes you are very lucky to not see the RX-8. lol

It's not as common as the DC2 in V.2 but it's still seen around here.

if u had to hold the brake for boost to be on, no one would ever use it...
they leave it on as default so if one person wants it on (most likely the beginner or the person being fished) it will be on....
let's say you are about to be fished with NO hope of winning...the fisher obviously wouldn't want to hold the brake to give you a chance, b/c if he did, he wouldn't be guaranteed a win anymore....boost is better on default, i leave it on when i'm about to be fished...

ova here leaving boost on purpose is consider cheating.PPl gets hella mad when sumone leaves boost on.
