As I stated before, I have Vol.6 ordered. It should get here MAYBE this week or the other. However, I can already share Vol.8 with perfect log but no scans since it's not my rip:

I have one and I never regretted my purchase. HGST/Hitachi has the best hard drives reliability period. If you have a laptop, get this HDD with an external adaptor (USB3 preferably). (Note: You need a 64-bit OS to make use of all space as you need to format it to GPT instead of MBF)

Agreed. I have the external variants called TOUROs (three of them) and not a single one has suffered any catastrophic failure in the three or so years I've had them. Absolutely the best HDDs for the value on the market.

Believe it or not, I have 30TB of space on 15 hard drives but they are all full! I think the solution is I have to either delete some stuff or archive it on DL BD-Rs.

I meant my hard drive is screaming figuratively not literally.
Luckily I have only had 2 hard drives go out on me ever and only lost data on one. Since that one crapped out I have had backups of all my hard drives so in actuality I have 30 hard drives and 60TB of space but I have backups for every hard drive so its cut in half.

and even worse that I had to make copies of old files, probably I'll need to get a new hard drive soon…

so, hmmmm, you guys will be making new rips from this series, is that so?
(because, as far as I know, you can find other lossless rips around)

SOLUTION: Deleted redundant SEBs I had in MP3, have them in FLAC now so... ~100GB free

if I have it in flac i just delete the other

With movies, I have only 4 hard drive. Five scored approximately 2/3. Basically series.
Everything on disks Blu-ray. And little is left of DIA.

4K soon ... Again, everything sort out.

PS Put in the EAC 18 number. By the weekend just all have time.

For the movies I really like I want the highest quality version available. Other movies I don't care if its on DVD or Blu-ray since I'll probably only watch it once anyways. AFAIK the movie I've watched the most is Goldfinger, I must have seen it 50 times so far. (its the first movie I ever owned too, bought it over 20 years ago on VHS and still have that tape to this day! )

Speaking of 4K, in February they screened a 4K version of Goldfinger at the Berlin Film Festival. Can't wait to see it in 4K!

I wish more Japanese movies/TV shows would use Eurobeat songs in their programmes. What situations do you think would work best with these songs besides racing? Swordfights, Anime OP/EDs, nature documentaries , or something else?
